@hassan-I believe you have the wrong idea when did the mods say that they are far superior than other members. Have you read what the mods and Admins had to say. All they are saying that he broke their trust by going in public with it without consulting them.

Well the leading team doesnt really care about our opinions much. They just want to enforce theirs.. whats the point of coming to this forum then if we cant even express ourselfs without the fear of it getting deleted or close and us getting banned if the mods dont like it ..

We are not saying about that freedom of speach. But freedom to speak against the mods if we think that what they are doing isnt justified... but they just delete your post

Fairly obviously we do care, else none of would put in the time (and money) to try and make this forum a success. I know a small section seem to think we don't listen, but we do. Everything we have ever done is (in our opinion) for the betterment of this forum

What's the point of coming to this forum you ask? If you think there is no point, firstly I would be very sad you came to that conclusion, and secondly you are obviously free to go elsewhere, obviously !!

Often, its not what you say that offends the mods so much but the way you said it. If its constructive criticism (for example "The mods do a great job in general but I think they could improve on ....") then its better recieved, whereas if you flame them they will just close your thread.

And this issue is about freedom of speech. From the way many members are going about in this thread they want to run the forums. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to run a forum of this size? There will always be people who disagree with you. If moderating is too strict, then people will complain as they have that they are not respected. If it is too lenient, then other people will complain about the spam and the flaming which would otherwise inevitably happen in the threads that are closed.

Its horrible. Most of it reads like an MSN conversation, squabbling and arguing. There are few posts in there that deserve their place (Deans posts, for example). This thread is turning into the same.

If you seriously have some issues about how the admins do their job, then just PM them or speak to them on MSN rather than continuing this pointless thread which is just going round in circles.
