Also on the 100% free speech topic, this is honestly not a good thing. What if someone comes on and posts a lot of racist stuff? They're allowed to say what they like right?

Although it's against PC rules. There's a difference between free speech and breaking the rules

He means there is difference of opinion regarding this topic-Duffarama being sacked. Zimrahil doesnt mean that they do not care about the opinion of the members regarding the any topic. And I dont believe that they are wrong regarding this particular topic.

Often, its not what you say that offends the mods so much but the way you said it. If its constructive criticism (for example "The mods do a great job in general but I think they could improve on ....") then its better recieved, whereas if you flame them they will just close your thread.

And this issue is about freedom of speech. From the way many members are going about in this thread they want to run the forums. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to run a forum of this size? There will always be people who disagree with you. If moderating is too strict, then people will complain as they have that they are not respected. If it is too lenient, then other people will complain about the spam and the flaming which would otherwise inevitably happen in the threads that are closed.

Yes instead of answering us they just ignore you and close the thread.

Who is saying about running the forum ourselves. The community has been established for a long time and the best for cricket gaming no doubt. Its just that they should sometimes listen to members instead of igoring them and deleting their posts, as long as the post is not too offensive or completely unjustified

whats the point of coming to this forum then if we cant even express ourselfs without the fear of it getting deleted or close and us getting banned if the mods dont like it ..

I echo this. Colin had made a post asking mods to ease up on some things BEFORE Duff came out and ambushed us with that post.
