SQUAD:
I have no YPs as of yet because i can't get any Its and when i do i use them when i'm bored! I'm saving up now though at a very slow rate.

Shaun Blair, the Don Bradman of the team,he makes the runs when it matters, crucially for us every game matters! An average of 128.333333 against local rivals of Derbyshire Deasey Athletics shows how he can raise his game. Last year he averaged 111.63 in the league in 11 innings making 893 runs with 4 50's and 3 100's including a massive 167* Blair is a fan of huge hundereds with 3 scores of 160+ so far and 2 150+s V deasey athletics including a 174. without a doubt the star batsmen

A destructive player with mediocre leadership skills and worthless experience.
Stamina: woeful Wicket Keeping: strong
Batting: feeble Concentration: feeble
Bowling: abysmal Consistency: feeble

Ben Cockerill,a great keeper who regurlarly takes over 5 catches and/or stumpings in a match. His batting is a let down with an average of 8 last year but following a few useful pops he's more than handy bating at 7.

Paul Corbett - 26 yo, BT Rating=3,363
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, abysmal batting form, mediocre bowling form, sublime
A cautious player with woeful leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: abysmal Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: abysmal Concentration: feeble

Fielding: woeful
A useful squad player but never good enough to get into the first team unless i'm resting a lot or throwing a match

Neelkanth Dangasela - 21 yo, BT Rating=4,927
RH Batsman, LH Spin Bowler, superb batting form, feeble bowling form, sublime
A defensive player with respectable leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: competent Concentration: respectable
Bowling: worthless Consistency: woeful
Fielding: woeful
New signing and responsible for my big debts, looks a very useful batsmen though who should make the competition for the team very interesting. Playing this sunday in the cup for us to make his debut and see whether hes a capable replacement for Sturgess who was dropped very harshly.

Chris Durno - 22 yo, BT Rating=2,987
RH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, feeble batting form, feeble bowling form, sublime
A destructive player with feeble leadership skills and useless experience.
Stamina: abysmal Wicket Keeping: worthless

A useful batsmen who would struggle to make the side without players being rested but his destructive nature can come in handy in BT20's

Eddie Eavis - 24 yo, BT Rating=1,598
RH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, respectable batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A destructive player with mediocre leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: woeful Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: mediocre Concentration: abysmal
Bowling: woeful Consistency: woeful
Fielding: abysmal
An interesting batsmen who for a while was told to pinch hit but despite his aggressive batsmen it looks like his playing days at Broady are now over and he's purely a squad player who might get in the 2nds :p Averaged 36 in the league last year from 288 runs.

Stephen Edwards - 23 yo, BT Rating=1,807
RH Batsman, RF Bowler, strong batting form, competent bowling form, sublime
A destructive player with strong leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: abysmal Concentration: abysmal

Amazingly dropped after taking a 6fer but this boy looks like rotting in the reserves,he doesn't quite cut it despite an average of 13 with the ball and a 6fer in the league last year.

Robyn Gabriel - 29 yo, BT Rating=2,045
LH Batsman, LF Bowler, woeful batting form, feeble bowling form, sublime
A defensive player with strong leadership skills and mediocre experience.

A cautious player with mediocre leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: mediocre Concentration: respectable
Bowling: feeble Consistency: mediocre
Fielding: abysmal
Comes in at number 5 and a very useful batsmen, certainly capable of making big runs this year after a solid start with the team. His defensive nature at number 5 could come in handy in preventing the classic battrick collapse. Career average of 48 with the bat in over 50 matches.

An attacking player with respectable leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: abysmal Concentration: mediocre
Bowling: mediocre Consistency: competent
Fielding: mediocre
Mr consistency always does a job no matter what the situation,i'm always looking for an excuse to drop him and buy a better bowler but he never offers one.A batting average of 1.62 is embarassing and his career average of 34 isn't special but that came in a much tougher leageu than mine that i bought him from in Australia.

Josh Ingram - 18 yo, BT Rating=4,209
LH Batsman, LFM Bowler, proficient batting form, proficient bowling form, sublime
A defensive player with proficient leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: competent Concentration: competent
Bowling: worthless Consistency: woeful
Fielding: woeful
Classy batsman, widely regarded as the future of Broady and although he's never had much of a chance with the bat and has only had to finish in a Bevan type role he should enjoy batting at 4 as he's a quality young batsmen. Averages 141 from only 3 innings with 2 not outs.

RH Batsman, LF Bowler, mediocre batting form, proficient bowling form, energetic
An attacking player with competent leadership skills and abysmal experience.

A steady player with woeful leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: worthless Concentration: woeful

A very good bowler but his recent lack of form could see him being the man dropped if a new bowling talent that Broady is scouting for comes in. Averages 26 with the ball, solid opening bowler.

Ledley Purkiss - 21 yo, BT Rating=3,229
LH Batsman, LM Bowler, competent batting form, mediocre bowling form, sublime
A defensive player with proficient leadership skills and worthless experience.
Stamina: abysmal Wicket Keeping: competent
Batting: abysmal Concentration: competent

Reasonable keeper,no-one wants to buy so i'll keep trying to sell him but for now he's just making up numbers/a back-up keeper.

Hugh Rimmer - 18 yo, BT Rating=2,778

A cautious player with feeble leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: worthless Wicket Keeping: worthless

A destructive player with feeble leadership skills and abysmal experience.

A steady player with woeful leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: competent Concentration: feeble

The reserve batsmen recently replaced by the new signing. He will have to work hard to regain his squad and wait for someone to muck up. A very good batsman who is definately a good enough squad player for my league. Averages 65 with the bat.

RH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A cautious player with strong leadership skills and worthless experience.

TRANSFER NEWS!!!!!
A few weeks ago star keeper Ben Cockerill was placed on the transfer market at the exorbitant price of 10 million pounds. Today his deadline makes his way to its end with no bids,i did however recieve an email from a manager willing to make an offer of 5 million for him,it's certainly an incredible amount of money for a club like Broady and they will have to think long and hard about the offer. They have a lack of back-up keepers but with 5 million they could build a new team. Post your views on the issue

I would easily as you can just get a YP of a keeper and just buy a new bowling attack mainly and maybe if needed another keeper.

hmmmm woeful stamina and feeble secondaries.. but wait... he has just turned 19... He is trainable... think before you do though :p
i did however recieve an email from a manager willing to make an offer of 5 million for him

Really? Then go ahead :D I voted no only becos he is trainable.. But looking at the financial situation for you, this might be handy!

Yeah , sell him off , you'll get a good bunch of great new players for that amount. millions :P

ok i'm chucking him despite him regularly taking 5 catches in an innings,5 mil is just too much, i can really strengthen now.

Top Order: mediocre

Lower Order: abysmal
Seam Bowling: mediocre
Spin Bowling: mediocre

Simply better than me,i will have to try and cause an upset.

Key man-- The key man for broady in this match will undoubtedly have to be Shaun Blair,we'll need the team to get off to a positive start if we want to win this and if anyone can,Blair can.

The team:
D.Thay (C)
S.Blair
N.Dangasela
J.Ingram
G.Hockley
F.McKenna (B5)
B.Cockerill (WK)
M.Mellor (B2)
L.Howell (B4)
D.Sadlier (B1)
W.Wingham (B3)

The game plan: score more runs than them and take more wickets, could put us on the road to victory

Good luck witht he game tomorow, hopefully you can cause an upset but i think they will be too good bowling side for you.

Good luck witht he game tomorow, hopefully you can cause an upset but i think they will be too good bowling side for you.

I dont think it as upset though.. Both the teams just up or down one level.. It should be an equal contest.. Hope Joe can win this one.. Come on Joe... you have home support :p Gud Luck!

chance to win is comparatively less... but you can still do it though. With ratings so close, it comes down to each players performance, best of luck, i shall keep an eye

turns out he was a WUM :( so Cockerill will now float through the transfer market offerless again but at least this way i don't lose my keeper. I do however desperately need some money,i'll have to go for a YP
