@Theraputty: Thanks again for that but I took care of the County bats some time ago (as you can see below). I would personally be surprised to see Warne use exactly that bat as I don't think he will feel the need for any more self-promotion.

@Kshitiz: Darick was a plagiarist and was banned for his indiscretions so I shall not be basing anything on his work.

hey burma, how come you dont help out with TCP. i know JK has made alot of high quality bats. you and him can work together and make 1000s of quality bats. maybe even custom designs.

1) There are only 24 hours in the day
2) I give a lot of my time freely to the Planet Cricket community in order to enhance the quality of EA Sports games which would otherwise be unplayable and ugly.
3) TCP is a project that I am completely unwilling to contribute to unless I know for a fact that it is going to be free (i.e., not for profit). I have no intention of being exploited so that someone else can make profit at my expense.

I figured it was time for a progress report. ;)

At the moment, as I have it, the Planet Cricket Batpack v2 will contain 140 bats. Of those 140, I only have 8 left to make so please be patient - the results will be worth the wait.

With the release will also come a completely new roster, updated with all new domestic (England and Australia) and international players. In addition, every player's ratings will have been edited to reflect their real-life abilities. In other words, Michael Vaughan will no longer be as good as Brian Lara while Kevin Pietersen will actually be picked for England. :p

All the domestic and international squads will be accurate (to the date of release) in terms of players and first-class/test lineups for most surfaces. Those of you who pay attention will realise that this is impossible really when it comes to Green, Wet, or Damp pitches because of the way the game has been coded. Still, having proper lineups for Normal, Hard, Dry, and Dusty surfaces is surely no mean feat.

I assure you, there is a lot to look forward to. :D

the woodworm looks good, but ist a real shame about the lighting effects in Cricket 2005

And I am looking forward to the release, keep up the good work

Great work BF, stunning :).

Also madsalty, i agree with that, the lighting is crap. The bats look really bright and the rest looks like total darkness.

Dwayne Bravo is in on sky sports now and is using the new woodworm

i think it's called "The Glow"

as in the Gloworm but i'm not sure :)

i have just checked again and i'm positive iot is called "The Gloworm"
