Story C07:Samuel Harris - Zero 2 Hero - NSW vs TAS T20 Part 1 - NSW looking for a win

Good update. I like the idea of you telling the game from on the field.

There are a few glitches that will need to be fixed up which were mentioned before.
Maybe keep your updates regular, as you start off telling the 1st, 3rd then 9th before you skip 20 overs to the 30th. And then you go from your second over to the 45th.
Also it's not really important but your stats on the first post are very unrealistic. If you are a number XI and have batted 62 innings you would of played well over 100 games at the age of 21 as you do not bat every game. Also you have a bowling average of 59 which is pretty high for a bowler.
Those are just a few suggestions, KUTGW.

Thanks for the comment dude, I skipped because I wasn't sure if people actually read the whole things, but since you said so, I won't do so many skips next time. Could you suggest some batting statistics for a tailender, I'm no good with stats, just his average should be about 10. Is 59 too bad or too good, I don't know how the bowling average calculated

Bowlling average is calculated by dividind total runs conceded by total wicket taken,

Depends how many matches you want him to have played.

Say he has played 60 matches, you would make around 30 innings, then times that by his average to get the amount of runs.

Bowlers in T20 might average about, 3 overs, 1 wicket and 20 runs a game.

So just times all that by the amount of games and change it by plus or minus maybe a couple so that are not all exact numbers like 500 runs. Make it maybe 494 so it looks more realistic. Also average is normally done to 2 decimal place e.g. 8.78 or 9.54 not just 9 or 10.

Hope that helps. :)

Bowling average is very low, I would make maybe 24 wickets and just under 600 runs

His best bowling figures are terrible. 5/51 yet you state it's a Twenty20 match. So, let's presume he bowled 4 overs = 24 balls.

5 of these 24 balls were wickets, thus no runs came from them. 19 balls remaining.

51 runs divided by 19 balls = 2.68.

So, basically you are saying that he would get hit for an average of almost 3 a ball, yet still manage to take five wickets.. he would get slogged for probably two/three boundaries yet take a wicket.

Completely unrealistic.

Make it something like 5/24, or 5/18, or whatever.. depends how well. Probably the max a bowler concedes is 40/45 if they are good, and that is when they are having a really bad day anyway.

Oh great! The game stuffed up and my save file has disappeared:crying
I only got upto 10 overs :noway

There's no semi-final in the Ford Ranger Cup as far as I know - there's just a final between the top two teams.. but I suppose I'll let that slip for now. :D

stated Peter Coch (NSW Coach). Stuart Clark has also been removed from the
squad due to a hand injury, while bowling in yesterday's Australia A vs India A

be in perfect form. Looking forward to a great match.
