Yes you heard right Canada made 71 runs in the next 6 overs after lunch most importantly without losing a wicket. Their score now is 198/4

Canada's start was bad as they were edging almost every ball in the first over but luckyly they didnt carry to the fielder then in the second over they came back strongly and made 10 runs.

But these 6 overs were not olny about Maraj continuing to kill the zimbabwean bowlers but also De Groot joining in and playing some wonderfull shots. he just came out there and hit every ball that was bowled at him

DeGroot hitting every ball got him his 50 in 28 balls with 8 fours. He got his 50 by comming down the track and hitting to ball over the long on fielder and getting a 6.

The Zimbabwean bowlers decided that may be the only way to stop the canadain batsman is to bowl short balls. They continued to bowl short balls and were still punished

Maraj loses his wicket at 93

The zimbabweans finally get a break through, this partership was a turning out to become a real pain for them and Hondo was the man with the cure.

Looked like Maraj was trying to get to his 100 faster and decided to hit the ball over the fielder at square leg but unfourtunately he couldnt clear the fielder and got caught for 93 off 100 balls.

An excellent innings by Maraj and a well deserved wicket for the zimbabweans

( the U19 are playing on tue and wed evenings )
