Would I be right in thinking that a career all-rounder cannot get a batting rating above 80, despite having a full batting stats bar?
If so, I guess this will be the same for his bowling then?
Also, on the batting stats front - how do I improve my loft shot stat? It's stuck on 50, making my hot-headed flashes at short pitched deliveries suicidal!

Yes I think you are. Although I haven't tried making one yet, the batsman I started to make had slightly more points in his batting initially, so I'd guess that he would have been able to reach 90 odd.

Also having completed my batting all rounder, the loft shot stays the same throughout your carreer I believe.

One thing I've been wondering about other people's carreer players is, are your carreer stats working well? I can't believe that scoring 288* can not have increased my player's batting average by more than .01. My main concern being anyone finding essentially than not out scores don't make any difference?

I checked my stats yesterday, my batting average is just over 13, and my bowling average is 9!
Surprising since I've knocked a few centuries, and my bowling is left-arm sh!t to come.
