Story Caribbean Flavours - PAK In WI | 1st Test | Result Is Out | Shocking!!

good story :cheers i will definitely follow it

Pakistan bowlers have hardly given anything away. Simmons is batting way too slow. He seem to be uncomfortable out there. Surprised to see Dwayne Bravo (I don't its Darren Bravo) bat so low even below Baugh.

1st Test @ Windsor Park Dominica

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first on this first test Day 1. Azeem Ghumman & Nayyar Abbas were the two players who debuted for Pakistan. West Indies had Dwayne Bravo back in their squad also Jerome replacing Ravi Rampaul & Fidel Edwards being replaced by Kemar Roach.

West Indies have started poorly by loosing 3 wickets in lunch session of Day 1 of 1st test and now will be looking up-to Samuels and Bravo to build a strong partnership and take West Indies to a commendable position.

Session - Tea

West Indies started poorly straight away after lunch, by losing their 1st wicket after lunch on 67 with Darren Bravo who was caught at 1st slip. Flow of runs soon started with Carlton Baugh hitting few good boundaries. Samuels shifted his gear to holding one place and letting Baugh score freely.

Baugh was soon out to a ripper of a delivery that bounced a lot Baugh was unable to keep it down. A good 30 runs partnership was ended and Dwayne Bravo came out to the middle next.

Dwayne Bravo who came next continued where Baugh left and scored some boundaries freely. Partnership reached 25 when Samuels was out in the most weird way. He tried to block the delivery but instead caught up with a thick edge down the leg and wicket keeper caught it with ease.

With 122 runs on board with the loss of 6 wickets, West Indies looked in trouble and came on for batting was their skipper, Darren Sammy who has been highly criticized for his batting. With Sammy not scoring and all pressure on Bravo, he was caught on Nayyar Abbas's delivery.

Soon West Indies saw a collapse with Bishoo scoring crucial 16 runs and ended on 161 which was below par total. Only one over was left before tea and Pakistani batsman safely negotiated it and ended on 1/0.

161 all out! Expected much more than this from the WI team. At least 300 should have been there on the board. Pakistan in the driver's seat now.

A mind blowing update will come but not sure today. May be tomorrow. Lets see

Session - End Of Days Play

Well, 15 wickets have fallen on Day 1 and it seems this match could well be over in 3 days of time if things progress this way. West Indies were first all out on 161 runs and we saw some amazing bowling from Nayaar Abbas and Riaz Afridi who just ripped apart the West Indies batting lineup.

For Pakistan it was Nayaar Abbas and Riaz Afridi but for West Indies it was their pace men Kemar Roach who ripped apart the Pakistan batting lineup.Pakistan lost 3 quick wickets.

Pakistan were on 28 when Kemar Roach's extra pace cleaned up Taufiq Umar , the Pakistan opener. 6 runs later, it was the man whom Pakistan rely heavily, Umar Akmal who was trapped in front LBW by Kemar Roach again. The very same over Kemar Roach 3 deliveries later cleaned up Fawad Alam and destroyed the Pakistan's top 3 batsman. Pakistan scored just 34 runs.

Younis Khan,Pakistan's most experienced batsman was out on the crease and he along with Imran Farhat tried steadying the Pakistani innings and added 30 runs for the 4th wicket before Dwayne Bravo cleaned up Imran Farhat for 33 runs who looked good and was playing a bit aggressively. He in his 33 runs hit 3 fours and a massive SIX..!!

Debutante Azeem Ghumman was the next man in, he has a big responsibility with Pakistan 64/4 and still trailing by 97 runs which seems huge on this wicket. Younis Khan and Azeem Ghumman added 12 runs for their 5th wicket partnership before Devendra Bishoo storm struck and Younis Khan was caught behind leaving Pakistan in deep trouble.

Pakistan end the day with wonderful square cut from Kamran Akmal and score reaching 80/5. Still the game is in balance and West Indies bowlers have definitely given them advantage. West Indies still lead by 81 runs.

Will Pakistan Fight Back? Stay Tuned...

Bowlers day. WI bowlers did really well to bring Pakistan under pressure. If they can quickly clean up the tail, WI might get some lead here.

Day 2

Well, its Day 2 of this 1st Test at Windsor Park in Dominica which is hosting it's only second Test. Pakistan had won the toss and elected to bowl first and did a pretty decent job by dismissing the West Indies team for 161 runs. Check out below for Highlights Of Day 1.

Highlights Of Day 1

Well, the playing conditions today does not suggest good batting conditions and it means we could have another wicket fest day today. We have already seen 15 wickets falling yesterday and could well be for same kind of day.

Pakistan started poorly with A Ghumman being caught in front LBW from Dwayne Bravo's very first ball of the day's play. Pakistan were then 80/6 and without troubling the score much Ghumman was back in pavilion for just 2 runs of 11 deliveries. Interesting point in Ghumman's wicket was that Hawk Eye showed the ball was going down the leg and Umpire committed a mistake. Ghumman could not believe he was out but sadly had to walk back to the dressing room.

Nayyar Abbas was the next man in for Pakistan. He along with Kamran Akmal added 12 runs for 7th Wicket partnership until Kamran Akmal played a real irresponsible shot trying to smack Bishoo out of the park, found Adrian Barath's safe hand. The catch was really taken clean but it seems Barath injured his finger.

Riaz Afridi was the next man in and Sammy gave himself to bowl. Nayyar Abbas & Riaz Afridi made look batting easy and added important 24 runs to Pakistan's score before Umpire made another mistake and Riaz Afridi was given caught behind out from Kemar Roach's delivery. Snicko later confirmed there was no edge. Pakistan were now in deep trouble with them being on 116/8.

Umar Gul came and went trying to play extravagant shot only managed to find Darren Bravo who took a sensational catch fielding on Second Slip. Eventually Nayyar Abbas was bowled by skipper Darren Sammy who continued to attack but it meant the end of Pakistan innings.

Pakistan were all out on 124 and West Indies have a handy lead of 37 runs.

West Indies batsman come out in the center for batting in the second innings, But wait, the opening pair is not familiar, Barath's injury has kept him from not opening the innings. Will that injury be serious?

Watch out for more.... ;)

Well well, good bowling by WI to help their team get a lead. Even 37 runs lead seems a big one looking at the way things have gone so far.

Draw is doesn't seem to be a possibility from here on.

Well, Pakistan all out on 124, West Indies having 37 runs lead, Adrian Barath not out due to injury all is happening in this test. 1 hours cricket was left before West Indies could take some rest and go for Lunch.

Well, as expected the new ball bowlers troubled the new opening pair Carlton Baugh & Lendl Simmons, there were few mishits, few thick edges, few delivers that were too close of getting wickets and ball was doing every bit of thing. Carlton Baugh was very lucky when he opened his second innings account with thick edge flying down towards boundary. Pace of Riaz Afridi and Umar Gul and given the wickets nature, they were too hot to handle.

West Indies lost their first wicket on 19 when the delivery just bounced up the surface and Carlton Baugh was surprised and took his edge. Adrian Barath covering his finger was the next man who came out to bat but after facing a delivery he to was caught on by the slip fielder and West Indies were still on 19 runs. The wicket will be highly criticized after this match for sure.

Darren Bravo was the next person in and Lendel Simmons and Bravo added 9 runs before another ripper of delivery took Darren Bravos wicket. West Indies were left in trouble by the end of Lunch session. Lendl Simmons has looked good and their most experienced player is out in the center Shiv Chanderpaul.

We will be back in a moment after Lunch.

I have followed your story previously and man your writing has improved a hell lot. Seems you are enjoying fully writing this story. Pakistan have come back strong but this is the nature of wicket. A 150 to 180 runs target will be difficult i suppose

Seems no one is much interested :facepalm 1 comment in 3 days?

Still I will posting, some or the other people will like it :) :yes
