KKR has never won it. MI won it in the final against Rajasthan, which was Dravid's final T20 match.
CSK won that beating KKR. Courtesy a century from Raina in the Final.

MI were defending Champions that season but had to play Qualifiers because they finished 4th in IPL. They lost to Lahore Lions and Northern Knights but managed to beat Southern Express by 9 wickets chasing some 160-odd target.

You’re talking about 2014 mate.

- Yeah, I noticed that action from Naveen too. It just seemed...off to me. And those screenshots proved it. But he's young. He still has a lot of time to work and become successful with a remodeled action.

- This is my first time actually seeing Mujeeb Ur Rahman live. All my other times were via YouTube. I'm even more impressed.

- Nobody wants to say what's up with Cornwall after retiring hurt Saturday. He definitely didn't take the field, and he was "rested" for the match today. I hope he's okay. Seemed to me that he was feeling a bit weird and then started saying he couldn't see well. That's not good.

- We've been getting early morning rain in and around Port-of-Spain everyday for the past week or so. But it always seems to disappear to give a clear afternoon into the evening. I except a couple of delayed starts to matches, but not enough to shorten matches. Like I said, I think the Oval has the best drainage system in the entire region. I've seen damn near floods happen in the Queen's Park Oval, and cricket being played about an hour after.

- That funny incident with the ball being rolled into the pitch...haha...made me remember my own post in my umpire thread. God, a LOT of those entries are outdated and wrong now given the updates to the rules. Remind me to make a post that thread sometime this week.

- Narine STILL has no right opening an innings. I don't care that he has two 50s so far. He is NOT an opening batsman. I can see him coming in around 14, 15 overs to try to bash it around and by then it's either hit out or get out. But Munro should be opening with Simmons, Bravo at 3, then the rest of the order flexible.

- I loved what Daren Ganga said on commentary today...I think it was during the second match...where he said that when he was a young cricketer they went to Australia and had a chance to train there for some time, and guys like Michael Clarke were already there for over a year.

- The overall quality of cricket still isn't all there, but it's improving.

- If you guys could only hear the radio commentary in the Caribbean...there was one catch taken where an announcer said, "That ball was almost as high as a Rastaman in a herb field." Which, I swear, had every single person stop for a moment before laughing their heads off.

- One of these good days Bravo will get the 500. And what a moment it will be too.

- I don't know what Ali Khan's issue with Johnathan Carter is, but he was damn happy to dismiss him today. That celebration was rather...animated...

More random thoughts as the tournament progresses. They had better not close off the roads around the Oval tomorrow, I'll be most annoyed at having to go the long way to get to work.

you are a part of CPL staff?

Dwayne John Bravo with 500 T20 wickets, the first player ever to get to that landmark. Good on him. A bit expensive, okay...a lot expensive, but his success in the short game can't be denied. Has so many variations that you can never tell what he's going to bowl. Has stayed very fit over the years.

21 T20 teams.

Over 400 teammates.

Dismissed 391 different batsmen.

Dismissed Kieron Pollard the most (9 times).

A workhorse for any team, a star fielder, and hits one of the best inside out shots I've seen.

Those inside out shots, with his head falling over. Looks like he is gonna collapse right there, without hitting the ball, but the ball still ends up for six...
