Champions League Thread (the dawn of time - 2014)

The question was wrong then.

Anyways, am waiting to see how we perform under Ramos in his first game in charge. Although I dont think you can do much work in two days. Expect Marcelo and Robben to start though since they are anyways banned for the clasico. A lot of talk about Bueno, and I think he'll play a decent amount of minutes tonight.

well well well...maure losin to aalborg, villareal losin to celtic and arsenal losin to porto...looks like some giant killing is on hand tonight...although if villareal lose, it wouldn't really matter if manure win or not...although they will have lost a match at home against a farily easy team...though i expect them to comeback and win it

Bilal91 added 10 Minutes and 39 Seconds later...

well there you go...manure are back with rooney while arsenal go 2-0 down...SHOCKING DEFENDING:(

The Juande Ramos regime has got off to an excellent start. Cant remember the last time we won so convincingly, (since the win over Sporting Club de Gijon) but still good to watch. Robben's goal was pure class and brilliant to watch.

And the most important thing - we defended well and kept a clean sheet!!

Forever....HALA MADRID!!

Yes Matt. I was seven beers down by then and I only remembered that when I reached the end of the sentence.

I have had a tough season so far, so let me enjoy, please.

No.

What I hate about Champions League nights are that you'll inevitably face a team full of diving, feigning prats. As well as a crap ref. Plus, Alan Smith and that other bloke, when they get into a negative mindset, drone on and on and on for the entire game. It's * annoying!

So then, we can get in the next round:

Panathinaikos
Manure
Roma
Bayern Munchen
Liverpool
Porto

No Inter though, since they too finished 2nd.
