I think it's great, it's not really an indication of who's the best side in Europe, maybe 2 out of the last 5 winners were, but it's still a great competition.

The group stages are worthless though. It becomes a proper competition and better for it in the knockout stages.

It's pretty obvious that the group stages are only there for Money and TV, but you can still get some cracking nights in the group stages, they aren't all one sided games featuring a Giant versus a team you hadn't heard of a year ago.

And now-a-days these so called unknown teams are doing well and matching up to the big boys. Anorthosis and Cluj, for example. Might have finished bottom but gave more than a good account of themselves. Even BATE Borisov in our group made sure that the other teams earn everything they win.

Inter vs Man Utd is going to be an interesting one. Fergie vs Jose once again. Third different club that Jose's managed against United isn't it? Porto, Chelski and now Inter. I can see United coming out on top, but it's going to be close. I reckon the winners will be:
