Champions League Thread (the dawn of time - 2014)

Bah you seriously need to get over it. I passionately hate Chelsea, and I'm never going to complain if you have the same feelings for Liverpool. That is just part and parcel of football, or any other sport for that matter - Lovers gonna love, haters gonna hate! So stop making a meal out of it.

:facepalm:facepalm:facepalm

The champions league semi-finals and El clasico are possibly the best fixtures of the season. Look how it shaped out, Barcelona lost to Chelsea, Munich beat Madrid, now it comes down to home games for the lost sides in CL and put in an El clasico league decider topping and you have the best of football. If not by the Odds that could double up into a pre-CL final.

what? Duncan Castles is probably the most well sourced football writer in the world.

I think if chelsea score 1 goal then it will be very great semi final to watch but if barca score first then problems will start for chelsea but i would like chelsea to win and tell barca that they r beatable but it looking difficult but all my wishes are wid chelsea hope they stun camp nou.and come with a fine victory.Hope they play positive otherwise they will pay..but hope they win ..

Terry given marching orders but the Blues still going through on away goals. OOOFT! Ramires's chip! What's the point in Barca getting a corner? It's just the start of another passing move from the quadrant, basically. Surprising that Barca are running out of ideas against a defence like Chelsea's...

That Busquets chance was the first one for Barca in a while, but not even a glaring one. Harmlessly scooped over. A testament to how well Chelsea have resisted in the Second-Half.

This is unbelievable stuff! Come on, Chelsea - bring this home. They deserve it after this performance.

And whatever happens, if Roman doesn't give Di Matteo the job full time, then he's a grade A twit.

Ha ha! Gary Neville is hilarious! Wow - bye bye, Barca! :wave :wave :wave Name on the Cup, Chelsea fans - name on the Cup. ;)

Ha ha ha! Why's the PA playing the Barca victory anthem????? Whaddamistakatomaka!!! Congrats, Blues and Lee and all other Chelsea fans here, it's been a long time coming but now surely the motivation from this will take you all the way now. :)

To be honest no-one is going to win in the "whose fans are bigger tools?" game. A lot of fans are morons but they don't really represent the club.

^^Exactly everyone support their own club.Whether they are right or wrong. But it will be good FA cup final with two teams who is having not a good season..

True enough, but there is no excuse for the Munich/Istanbul/Hillsborough/Heysel nonsense - that's not supporting your club. That's just acting like a sick human being.

I never screamed for Chelsea but I went nuts when torress scored. I'm more than happy to get Barca go down finally. Actorlona. CUT.

Well done Chelsea. This should give Di matteo the job. If not Abramovich has no balls. Timely Subs.

Phew what a game. Torres scored the goal that should wipe out all his 50m tag ghosts. His goal was worth every penny of it.
