Liverpool have played some atrociously boring football of late, which is strange considering they have some pretty nifty players such as Torres, Gerrard and erm, erm, Voronin ;P

Good performance by Liverpool, but from what I saw, Besiktas were completely hopeless. The 6th goal was excellent but the 7th was one of the flukiest goals I've seen!

Nights like tonight are where you just love sky, the goal update is brilliant. United pretty sure of a win in your typical tie against an average side, they've just sat back and we waited for an opening. Barca outclassing Rangers too.

Ibrahimovic's goal was an absolute screamer. Could well be goal of the tournament. Comfortable win here, Rooney an Tevez both bagging goals. Glad Vida's made captain, I've said he should be all season and he's just so inspirational, got a good future ahead of him too considering he's 26 and already has no pace anyway Pique was class and for me one of our most promising players Evans getting on the pitch was great news too. Ronaldo deserved his most of all though

I watched Liverpool's win last night...all I can say is "Mmmmm" they won. I watched the previous game against Blackburn where they struglled to dominate so I was like "What?" when they beat this team 8-0. I thought there aim this season was the PL anyways after there terrible start to the CL

Boy, we should've really stuffed Kiev tonight! It could easily have been another 7 or 8-0 job. There were at least three times where we tried to walk the ball into the goal where all we needed to do was to shoot!

Well done anyway lads! Through to the next stage for another year and looking really good!

Prague did a brilliant job tonight. they were resolute in defence and broke up our play (legally and illegally). I'm content with a point. we weren't exactly awe-inspiring but the 2nd half conditions kind of dictated our play.

The referee was a little bit too whistle-happy tonight but we're through so now I can sit back, relax and watch Liverpool get knocked out in 2 weeks.

Last night turned out to be a great performance. After looking at the team sheet, the atmosphere around OT and the poor first 20 minutes, I thought it was going to be a night where we didn't real turn up.

It was great for Pique to get his first goal for us, he was immense throughout. Tevez's goal was quality and just showed again his growing partnership with Rooney. Fantastic cross by Nani for the 3rd, and if I may say it, Beckham-like. The fourth one was just sublime from Ronny, he'd been getting frustrated for the previous twenty minutes that he'd not got a goal really and his celebration was great! Yeah I was glad that Vida was captain, and even more happy that he's signed a new contract today.
