I have viewed several forums and didn't get a legit answer. If someone can post a legit Champions Trophy Setup once and for all that would be great help to myself and others who are trying to find the same answer. @Cloud Starkman came up with a way to do it, you need to create 2 4-team leagues. Then the top 2 from those can be put into a 4-team knockout tournament. You can add the teams in a certain way so that they play each other in the correct order.

tried that, this is what happened, my first match came up as Australia vs Bangladesh, go into it to play and the teams for AUS and NZ show? wtf?

Bugger, I've done it and it works well.

I've also done it to replicate the 1983 world cup and it has worked so far and I am up to round 4

Yep, if you use the CT 17 teams created by @Llewelynf all of the teams have the three English grounds being used for the tournament. If you don't want to use those teams then you'll have to edit your teams home stadiums.

and after that revert the home staidums of all 8 teams in case if you want any further tournament in one location and keep doing same practice every time.

What would be the idea behind making such particular design.

Doesnt for me..... the fixture says two teams but when i click to play that fixture two different teams come up ........

You mean we have to play each league separately? Then create a 4 team ko cup?Can we have 2 leagues running in one tournament and then the top 4 for semi's? Only bigant know why they couldn't put a template in for us to create our own world's cups/ champions trophy etc??? It was in dbc14?
