Roman Abramovich announced that unknown manager Zohaib Ahmed is going to take over the role of manager at Chelsea FC. Although the Media have heavily criticized the move, but Abramovich has shown his full support to his new manager.

I am honored to be chosen as the new Chelsea Manager. We all believe that this club has a great future and I hope that I can do my part to help Chelsea FC capture many titles.

Potential Bids​

Andrey Arshavin

After a great EURO Cup, Arshavin has been linked with many clubs. He has pace, and the ability to create goal scoring situations.

Without doubt Arshavin is on my list. He would give us more pace in the side which could help us play good looking football.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar

Huntelaar is big, tall and terrifying up front. He has the ability to finish and could be lethal from set pieces. He would provide assistance to Drogba up front. He has determination, and the skills to back it up.


Asamoah Gyan

Gyan is young, and extremely talented. At 21 years of age he can played as a right winger or a striker. His recent performances for Ghana has put him on Chelsea's list.

Dimitar Berbatov

Berbatov is on the lists of many Clubs as he has the skills to trouble any defense. Along with Drogba, Chelsea are looking to make a dynamic duo by getting their hands on him.

Shevchenko double gives Chelsea an easy win. ​

Chelsea played their first match with Zohaib Ahmed and won it comfortably. Ahmed played a 4-4-2 diamond formation and had Drogba alongside Shevchenko up front. The midfield consisted of Kalou, Lampard, Essien, and Joe Cole. The defensive line consisted of Ashley Cole, John Terry, Carvalho, and the newly signed Boswinga.

Shevchenko's second goal was exquisite as he put away a half volley.

Manager Ahmed praised Shevchenko's preformance and said that he was happy to see a bit of the old Shevchenko.

Ivanovic and Mikel also featured in this game and looked solid in their respective positions.

Chelsea will face Rangers in the Final.

Chelsea sign Arshavin

Ahmed's first bid is successful​

Chelsea have made a successful $12.50M bid for Arshavin. Arshavin is the first capture for the new Chelsea boss.

Chelsea manager Ahmed said that "I'm glad that Arshavin has accepted our terms and I look forth to seeing him in action."

Villarreal and Anelka begin Talks​

After a suspected $15M bid for Chelsea's striker Anelka, the manager has allowed contract talks between the club and the striker.

PSV loan Chelsea Trio​

Chelsea have accepted PSV's bid to loan Wright Phillips, Ferreira, and Pizzaro. The trio will spend the season at PSV and hope to gain first team experience.

Milan chase Cech​

AC Milan have made $31M bid for Chelsea's star goalkeeper Petr Cech. Manager Ahmed has issued a hands off warning, and has stated that Cech will "never be sold".

Chelsea came out winners against Rangers in the Friendly Cup final. Although they started out a bit rusty and fell behind early, they came back straight away with dazzaling passing, and exquisite finishing. Drogba, Shevchenko, and Terry were the scorers for Chelsea. Cudicini started in this game instead of Cech.

Shevchenko has been the main influence in the side as he again took multiple shots on target and found himself a goal.

Arshavin was brought in at half time as he made his first appearance in Chelsea colours. He had a decent game and found himself in couple of spaces where he had the chance to score.

Malouda also took part in this game, and had a good time as he ran past his opponents. His finishing though was poor.

Nicolas Anelka signs with Villareal​

Anelka has finalized the deal by putting pen on paper. The Chelsea management wish him luck at his new club and hope he will be successful in the future.

Chelsea FC were on top for most of the game and created multiple chances. Shevchenko showed his worth and finished off 2 goals. Shevchenko is having a top pre-season with 5 goals from 3 games.

Tal Ben-Haim also had a good game at the back as he won 18 of the 19 headers he came accross.

Arshavin and Bosingwa also played in this game.

Milan make Drogba Bid​

Milan have made a huge $22M for Chelsea's striker Didier Drogba. Chelsea have rejected the bid straight away.
