Today, Jose Mourinho told Sky Sports that his time was over at Stamford Bridge with the Blues. He took the position of Chelsea's manager in June 2004 and Chelsea has achieved a lot under his management.

Jose Mourinho took Chelsea to two Premiership glory, won two league cups and won the Community Shield Cup and F.A. Cup once. Under him Chelsea hasn't won a single UEFA Champions League Title.

Firstly he will be looking forward to giving a Community Shield Victory and start the new season with a blast. Can Das take the Blues to new heights? Thats big question the media has.

Here are the upcoming fixtures for Chelsea. Chelsea starts their season off with four friendlies all being away from home. With no home support behind them Chelsea will be having trouble winning the friendlies by huge margins. All the friendlies are with different teams and the first team they are facing is Seatle. Then they face Chicago, New England and New York. Then they face Manchester United in the final of the Community Shield and Chelsea will be looking forward to win this big one against one of their biggest rival.


After the community shield final they begin their premier league matches. They face another rival
in their opening game and its Liverpool. Then they continue their campaign facing Newcastle and Birmingham Away from home and they will be aiming to win this three and start their campaign on a high note.

Chelsea's midfielder Michael Ballack is out for 3months with a strained ankle ligament



Welcome to Qwest Field, Seattle for the friendly match between Chelsea and Seattle. Chelsea has the odds of winning this one and a lot of pressure is on Seattle.

Chelsea will be missing Michael Ballack who a strained ankle ligament and is having a surgery and is going to be out for 3 months. Another injured player is Scott Sinclair who has a broken leg and needs a day or two to heal from it. On the other hand Seattle has no injury and they will be fielding their full strength against a strong Chelsea Side.

The Home team will be fielding 4-4-2 strategy. Seattle's forwards consist of Barry Roberts and Eric Szczypiorski. Their midfield consist of Miguel McGregor, Andrew Prince, Mathew Lewis and Brett Robles. Defense line of Seattle consist of Brian Sullivan, Richie Jordan, Trevor Smith and John Devlin and their goalkeeper is Patrick Bradley.

Chelsea too will be going with 4-4-2 strategy. Chelsea strength lies in their forward which consists of Didier Drogba and Andriy Shevchenko. Their midfield will be missing Michael Ballack presence but still its a good midfield. It consist of England's Frank Lampard and Joe Cole and Ghana's Michael Essein and Ivory Coast's Salomon Kalou. These four will be relied on to pass the ball to either striker. The Defense line up is also strong. It has Chelsea and England's Captain John Terry leading from the front and to his support Chelsea has Ricardo Carvalho, Ashley Cole and Pauolo Ferreira and the Goalkeeper of Chelsea is none other than Peter Cech himself.

Chelsea dominates at Qwest Field

Kalou seals the game with a goal in the 68th minute

Both the team entered the field. Chelsea kicks off.

5 min:-Good play by Joe Cole in making himself some space. Joe Cole puts the ball into the six yard box. Drogba got well above Smith to win the ball. Drogba forced the ball goalwards with a header. Bradley saves the ball and holds onto the ball

8 min:-Sullivan scarmbled the ball away. Free kick to Chelsea as Jordan tripped Shevchenko. Joe Cole dispatched the free kick towards the goal but Bradley did well to get his fingertips to the ball. The ball fell to Shevchenko and he was unmarked. Shevchenko plays the ball to his left and Bradley lets the ball run free. Jordan makes the clear and Ashely Cole picks the ball up. He takes the ball and passes it to Joe Cole who then passes it to Kalou who goes for a shot from a long range but Bradley saves it.

33 min:-Drogba played the ball right to Joe Cole's feet. He looks for Ashley Cole who moves forward with the ball and passes it to Terry. Terry takes the ball forward and and lofts it 30 yard upfield. Shevchenko brings the ball inside the box and hits a savage right footed shot. SHEVCHENKO SCORED FOR CHELSEA! Seattle felt that it was an offside and they were feeling shocked that the linesman didn't see it.

39 min:- Terry found Kalou with a low forward pass. Kalou played a good ball for Drogba. Drogba ran with ball. Drogba hit it hard with the outside of his foot and Bradley manages it to save it.

47 min- Kalou looked certain to tuck it away. The shot deflected off Lewis and ITS AN OWN GOAL. Its Chelsea 2 Seattle 0.

68 min:- Kalou was in the clear. Kalou looked certain to tuck it away. The ball hit Devlin and he scores the third goal for Chelsea. Seattle makes some change. They bring on some fresh legs. Adam on for Sullivan and Hindmarch on for McGregor. Chelsea makes a substitution. They replaces the injured Lampard with John Obi Mikel.

87 min:- Carvalho was forced to hold onto the ball, he passes it to Kalou and he brings the ball forward. He plays a perfect pass for Mikel. Mikel found himself lot of time but he puts the ball wide.

90 min:- Shevchenko advances with the ball and he tries to find Drogba with a pass to feet. Briggs cleared the ball. Freekick to Chelsea as Hindmarch tripped Drogba. Essien fired in the freekick but he couldn't connect it cleanly as it went wide of the goal. Goal kick. After the goal kick is taken the final whistle is blown and Chelsea wins here.

Chelsea dominated throughout the game and Seattle lost the game when they scored an own goal. Chelsea will be going into their next friendly with a nice momentum. A good start to Das' career at Stamford.

Shevchenko seals another win for Chelsea

Shevchenko scores the second goal to give Chelsea another win.

Chicago will be fielding their full strength against a strong Chelsea side. Chelsea coming into this game after a win over Seattle at Qwest Park will be determine to win this one also. Chelsea will be going with the same set of line up.

Chelsea started off well as they brought their form from the last friendly game. Shevchenko attempted at the very beginning with a thunderous drive but Pickens managed to save it. Chicago too joined the party as they also tried their first shot on the goal but Schweitzer couldn't target the goal properly. From then onwards Chelsea tried a lot to score a goal but it was either stopped by Pickens or the Chelsea player missed the shot. Inform Shevchenko also tried to score an early goal for Chelsea but he too was stopped by Pickens. On the other hand Chicago didn't give a great challenge to Chelsea as they got only one chance to score a goal and that was at the beginning. First half ended with Chelsea dominating. Can Chelsea do better in the second half?

Chicago started the second half but Chelsea soon got the ball under their control as Drogba went forward to score a goal. Drogba got the ball from a brilliant pass by Shevchenko who got the pass from the midfielder Cole. Drogba tried a fierce shot at the goal and he used too much power as that ball went over the top bar. Chicago soon got another chance to score a goal Wanchope couldn't direct the ball towards goalwards. Chicago are getting frustrated as they got a good chance to score a goal but in the end they couldn't do it. But they didn't give up as Wanchope surprised the Chelsea camp with a goal in the 71st minute as he blasted the ball in the top right corner of the goal but Chelsea didn't give up as Lampard came back strong. In the 75th minute the pair of Lampard and Essien showed some brilliant skill and leveled the game. Now either team needed a goal to win this one as Chelsea was looking the favorite to score another goal. Lampard was going towards the goal with the ball in his feet aiming to score his second of the night. He entered the penalty area and was about to score the goal when the assistant referee raised his flag for offside. Lampard was frustrated after the assistant referee's decision. After the freekick Shevchenko soon got control of the ball and scored the second goal of the game for Chelsea and sealing it for Chelsea. With Chicago's hope going blank, Chelsea tried to make it three in a row as they still attacked but missing it both the time. Final whistle was blown and Chelsea has won their secondly friendly.

With Chelsea winning two friendlies back to back they are looking in great form and will be going with this same form in the next friendly. Chelsea will be looking forward to win the next two friendly and will want to go into the finals of the Community Shield with great form. Can they achieve it?​

Chelsea takes part in Transfer Market

Chelsea manager, Das today finally took part in the transfer market. Today he sold some players to different clubs. He stated that the team needed a change and this was the start. He said that he needs to sell the weak players in the squad and wants to replace them with players stronger.

He placed Claude Makelele, Carlo Cudicini, Tal Ben-Haim and Shaun Wright-Phillips in the transfer market. Most of the players from that list are wanted by a club. Claude Makelele is wanted by none, Carlo Cudicin is wanted by Lazio,Zaragoza and Juventus. Tal Ben-Haim is wanted by Lazio and Fiorentia and Shaun Wright Phillips is wanted by Sevilla and Inter.

Two offers came from Lazio and Fiorentia for Tal Ben-Haim. Lazio made a bid of $12,350,000 while Fiorentia made a bid of $12,000,000. Chelsea accepted both team's offer. Now the contract signing is left while on the other hand, Sevilla withdrew their bid on Wright Phillips and Inter took this opportunity by placing their bid of 25 million which Das accepted. One step is left before Das gets the money and its the contract signing. Lazio steps back from their bid over Cudicini and Cudicini is still hoping to get either an offer from Zaragoza or Juventus as he stated that he will be happy to play in either club but his happiness became less when Zaragoza removed their bid over him. Juventus was the only team left to bid on him but Juventus also removed their bid over Cudicini putting his career into threat.

Chelsea's Ben-Haim rejected the offer from Lazio and accepted the one from Fiorentia but Fiorentia could take 1 non-EU player from abroad per season. But there was no stopping in Phillips' transfer as he signed the contract with Inter . Phillips stated to Sky Sports that he is happy to move to Inter where he will get more respect than he did while he stayed in Chelsea. He will be hoping for a place in the playing XI which he didn't get while playing for Chelsea.

Nicolas Burdisso,26 joins Chelsea

With Inter getting Shaun Wright-Phillips, Inter has said that Chelsea can offer Nicolas Burdisso a contract . Chelsea offered Burdisso and he accept it. So with the contract being accepted by both Burdisso and his manager, Chelsea signs Burdisso, 26 year old Argentinian central defender for 20 million.

With Cudicini getting no offers, Chelsea got an offer of loan from Tornio which Das accepted immediately. With no offers given to Makelele and Ben-Haim Das so far still has hope that he will either sell the two players or give them as a loan to another team.​

Chelsea surprised with New England's performance

The next friendly was against minnows New England. Chelsea was the predicted favorite to win it but sometimes we should not underestimate weaker teams. Chelsea fielded their same one with no change and their opponents New England will also be fielding their strongest squad against the Blues.

New England kicked off but they didn't have the ball that long as Chelsea's Kalou snatched the ball from New England's player who passed it to Carvalho and he passed it to Chelsea's main striker Drogba who tried to take a quick lead but New England's goalkeeper Arena saved it. No goals were seen until the 13th minute when New England surprised Chelsea's defender when Stuart Llamas of New England pulled of a goal for them getting a lead themselves. Chelsea wasn't too far when Drogba scored the equalizer just after 3 minutes from the last goal. Many tries were made after that goal but no one could get the lead but Essien didn't give up yet when he fired the ball goalwards in the 31st minute giving Chelsea a 2-1 lead. But New England wanted to level it up in the first half itself when Llama strike with his second goal of the game. Llama has been awesome so far in the game. With the first half coming to an end the score is all leveled and Chelsea's fan are surprised with the performance from New England. Can Chelsea bound back after a great performance from New England in the second half?

We returned back with the second half with Chelsea kicking off in this half. Chelsea's manager must had a long talk with the players and Chelsea will be looking forward to score another goal while the New England will be looking forward to defend as much as possible as because the happiness they will get from drawing a game against a side with such talent will almost be equal to the happiness they will get from winning against a team of their equal strength. Chelsea tried desperately to score goals here but each and every time they either missed it or New England's goalkeeper made a brilliant save, New England too tried twice or thrice to score another goal but each and every time Cech stopped it from happening. With more pressure building on Chelsea as Essien and Kalou got two yellow cards respectively but Chelsea didn't give up and they still continued on the attack but New England denied it from happening and the second half ended with the score all squared.

So, with New England surprising Chelsea with a huge draw here, can Chelsea bounce back in their next friendly? And are they adequately prepared for their big encounter with one of their arch rivals Manchester United in the Community Shield 2007 finals next month? Thats the question we have for Das and his Chelsea squad.

Community Shield 2007 Final Review

Community Shield

Today is the final of Community Shield 2007 between two arch rivals. One is Chelsea from Stamford Bridge and the another is Manchester United from Old Trafford. Both of these team has been each others rival for many years. They have faced each other quite a lot of times sometimes it was Chelsea who was victorious and sometimes it was Manchester United who proved to be the best between them.

Today again these two rivals face each other and it will be a tough challenge for both side to get a win here. Both teams will be coming with their full strength and will be thinking of win this one.

Manchester United F.C.-

Manchester will be playing their full strength as usual and their key players will be Carloz Tevez and Cristano Ronaldo. Their captain Ryan Giggs must lead from the front while Rooney will be relied upon scoring some early goals and they will be depend upon Vidic and Ferdinand as their key defenders.
