Thats what I am playing. Terry at LB, Cole and Burdisso at CB and Carvalho at RB while Kalou in the mid with Cole while Essien is RM and Lampard in LM

Chelsea wins a thriller.

Essien who scored the third goal for Chelsea to win the Community Shield Cup

Man Utd and Chelsea have been bitter rival for many years. With Man Utd being the favorite to win this clash for the bookies but Chelsea will not give up as they will be looking forward to win this one.

Chelsea kicked off and searched for the first goal straight away as Lampard played the ball left to Shevchenko's feet who came forward and passed it to Drogba who tried to curl the ball goalwards but Van Der Sar stopped it. Five minutes into the game Chelsea tried again but Vidic blocked it away with Chelsea getting the first corner of the game. Lampard lifted the corner into the penalty area and Ronaldo made a great save by clearing the ball with a spectacular bicycle kick.

Man Utd got their first chance in the game to score in the seventh minute when Rooney got behind Chelsea's defence with the Keeper to beat only and Rooney had to bury it but Cech saved it and deflected the ball. Another try was given by Rooney when Ronaldo centered the ball with Rooney trying to hit it in low but he puts it wide with Man Utd missing another opportunity at making the scoreline 1-0.

Chelsea got a throw in which was taken by Terry. Drogba recieved the ball from Terry and he advanced with it into their opponent's territory as he founded Essien in front him, he passed it to Essien. Essien brought the ball forward and had space to move into. Essien passed right to Shevchenko. Shevchenko passed incisively looking for Lampard. Ferdinand did well to pick out and intercept that pass. Ferdinand got it and cleared the danger. Ferdinand took away the legs and penalty was given in the favor of Chelsea. Shevchenko took the penalty on Chelsea's behalf who stepped up to the penalty box with great confidence and he was successful in scoring the first goal for Chelsea.

Thirty Eight minute passed since the whistle was blown with Chelsea still leading 1-0 after the goal in the 16th minute from a penalty taken by Shevchenko. Carvalho tried to find Kalou first time with a forward pass to feet. Kalou brought the ball forward and found Lampard with a low pass down the right flank. Shevchenko picked up Lampard's excellent ball and he found himself some space but a foul was committed by Vidic who obstructed Shevchenko. This time it was Kalou who took the penalty for Chelsea. Kalou also had a great high of confidence but this time Van Der Sar was a little worried if the ball went inside and Kalou was again successful and made the scoreline 2-0.

Man Utd had no hopes of leveling the score but Rooney didn't give up. In the 78th minute, Carrick played a long ball to Rooney and Rooney kept the ball moving towards their goal. He then played a wonderful ball to Fletcher who tried to score a goal but Cech did well to get his fingertips on the ball but Rooney didn't give up hope as he scored the first goal of the game on Man Utd behalf by pouncing on the rebound.

Chelsea became frustrated in the 81st minute because of the mistake made by Ashley Cole when Wes Brown gathered the loose ball and volleyed it forward to Ryan Giggs. He took the ball forward and tried for a cross to Rooney and in order to clear the ball Ashely Cole rose above Rooney but instead of clearing he headed the ball goalwards for an own goal leveling the score 2-2 with ten minutes left in the game.

Chelsea made many tries in the next ten minutes but failed in all the them. In the 90th minute Silvestre removed the danger by clearing ball but Burdisso collected the ball who then powered it past Rooney sending it to Lampard's feet. Lampard with the ball puts a low cross in to the near post with Essien loosing his man and finding himself enough room scores the third goal for Chelsea and the first one for him in the match.

With Man Utd having lot of pressure they makes a change with Nani replacing world class footballer Ronaldo. With four minutes of added time Man Utd tried to seek for another goal in order to take this game into extra time but the Red Devils failed to score their third goal with Chelsea sealing this one in their favor.

Chelsea faces tough challenge first up

Chelsea vs Liverpool

Chelsea faces Liverpool in the first match of their Premier League season 2007/08.

Chelsea has played four friendly matches recently out of which they have been successful in sealing three wins and a draw. Then they faced one their biggest arch rival Manchester United in the Community Shield Cup match which Chelsea won 3-2.

On the other hand Liverpool has also played some friendlies before coming into this game. Out of five friendlies they have played during the off season they manage to win four of them and lost one to Colorado 2-1. Liverpool would have been hurt a lot after loosing to such a weak team.

Both of the team have faced each other many a times in the past with Chelsea winning most of them. Under Das Chelsea will be facing Liverpool for the first time and it will be another tough challenge for Das but Das is ready to face any challenge set in front of him.

Chelsea will get the home crowd to support them from behind and will be the favorites to win this one.

Chelsea will be fielding a 4-4-2 formation. At the top will be Didier Drogba and the inform Andiry Shevchenko. At the middle on the left will be Joe Cole, at the centre will be Frank Lampard and Michael Essien while on the right side it will be Salomon Kalou. At the bottom from the left it is Ashley Cole, John Terry, Ricardo Carvhallo and Nicolas Burdisso. With Ballack yet missing out a game due to injury, Chelsea will surely be missing his presence.

Liverpool on the other hand will have a 4-1-3-1 formation. At the top it is Fernando Torres. Then Liverpool has Babel, Sissoko,Alonso,Gerrad and Mascherano . Liverpool defense consist of the Rise on the left with Hypia and Carragher in the centre and Finnan on the left.

With Chelsea having odds 5-4 to win it followed by a win for Liverpool having odds of 7-4 and then the odds of draw being 11-5. The official for this game is Martin Atkinson. Can Chelsea win their first game of the season? Or will Liverpool win their first one? Stay tuned. ​

Kick Off- The whistle is blown at Stamford Bridge and Liverpool kicks off. Its going to be a great game between Chelsea and Liverpool.


1 min- Liverpool gets the first chance of finding the net as Babel brings the ball forward who fed the ball left to Sissoko, who kept the ball moving. Torres then picked up a superb pass from Sissoko as he tried to make some space to score a goal but in the end didn't get close to keeper.

6 min- Chelsea went for their first shot on goal as Kalou picked out Shevchenko with a lovely pass. Shevchenko turned skilfully with the ball and played the ball back to Essien. Essien then passed it to Kalou who moved in on goal, came forward and smashed a fierce shot but he couldn't keep it down. Few minutes later we again saw another attack from Chelsea this time Drogba played the ball right to Shevchenko's feet who was allowed space to run with the ball. He kept the ball moving and played a pinpoint pass to Drogba who did well to take the ball in the penalty area and he scored the first goal for Chelsea.

14 min- Reina took the goal kick and Terry did well to get above Alonso to get the ball. He headed the ball towards the goal scorer, Drogba and he played a one-two with Essien. But Gerrard cleared the ball and Burdisso rose bravely above Sissoko to win the ball, which he headed to Essien but Babel soon got the ball and went forward with it. Torres picked up Babel's fine pass and went forward with the ball. Torres managed to get the ball into the area but Cech did well to get his fingertips.

21 min- Reina lifted the goal kick upfield and Gerrard got his head into the ball which Petr Cech collected and delivered the ball upfield. Both Shevchenko and Sami Hyypia jumped for the ball but Shevchenko won and he exchange passes with Essien. Essien gives a brilliant pass to Shevchenko and he found the net for the first time tonight.

28 min- Kalou went to the byline. Kalou swivelled on the ball. The cross came in to the near post from the right. Drogba won the aerial challenge against Carragher. Drogba was unmarked. Drogba heads one across the goal but he puts it just over.

32 min-Fernando Torres out-jumped Carvalho. Torres headed the ball down for Xabi Alonso. Alonso plays a perfect pass for Torres but Torres couldn't get it on target.

32 min- Mascherano signalled to the bench and had to come off. Mascherano has collided with Lampard

34 min- Liverpool going to make the first change of the night. Injured Mascherano will be replaced by Agger.

40 min-Joe Cole played a one-two with Essien. Joe Cole played it past Steve Finnan. Joe Cole cuts inside and exchanged passes with Essien. Good play by Joe Cole in making himself some space. Joe Cole struck from a narrow angle but he didn't get close to troubling the keeper.

42 min- Drogba flicked the ball onto Lampard. Lampard used his first touch to pick out the run of Andriy Shevchenko. Joe Cole found himself with plenty of time. Reina did well to get his fingertips to the ball. The rebound fell to Shevchenko and he made himself some space and scored the third goal for Chelsea and second for himself.

45 min- An excellent intervention by Agger. Torres won the aerial challenge against Terry. Torres got his head to the ball and free kick was given as Terry was pushed by Torres. The 4th Official signals 2 minutes of injury time for the first half. Its a goal kick for Liverpool as Lampard played the ball down the left. The goal kick taken quickly by Reina. Steven Gerrard got above Ricardo Carvalho. Gerrard nodded the ball left to Mohamed Sissoko. Sissoko came forward with the ball and tried to find Carragher with the pass to the left. Carragher swivelled on the ball. Carragher passed along the floor for Sissoko to pick it up and Mohamed Sissoko moved forward with the ball. Sissoko knocked a lovely ball for Xabi Alonso who moved in on goal but Petr Cech gathers the ball safely. Cech delivers the ball upfield and Shevchenko looks to latch onto it but Sami Hyypia headed the ball to Riise. Riise came forward and played the ball to Alonso's feet and Alonso moved the ball first time for Torres. Torres bought the ball forward and played a pinpoint pass to Gerrard but the goalkeeper wave the ball wide.

Half Time- Its half time at Stamford Bridge and so far Shevchenko has been sensational in the first half. At half time its Chelsea, 3 and Liverpool, 0.
