Now some more action is happening.

27.5 4 Basham to Quintus
Nipped back, forward, solid drive into the gap at mid off. Very well placed.
28.1 4 Sutton to Chavhanga
Chavhanga hits that so fine not even fine leg could reach it. Well timed!

End of Over 29: 153-2, runrate=5.28
Sutton 5-0-31-1
Chavhanga* 35 (38 balls)
Quintus 23 (28 balls)
Last Wicket: Masibulele c. Reed b. Sutton 77 (FOW: 115/2)

Code:
28.4 [COLOR="Red"]W[/COLOR]	Longrigg to Lakhani
[COLOR="Red"]Big inswinger and a massive inside edge. But he's given him!! Lakhani can't believe it, what a bad call from the umpire.[/COLOR]

GONE! Wrong wicket though! I kinda wish that he didn't go out.

End of Over 32: 150-4, runrate=4.69
Handbury 6-0-33-1
Thackeray* 15 (15 balls)
Blenkinsopp 71 (61 balls)

Hmm. Could be chasing 300 here. I neeeeeed Blekinsopp!

No 100 for Chav again, no 50 either.

32.3 W Benamar to Chavhanga
Chavhanga hit in front ...huge shout ... umpire's taking his time ... and he's given him. A bit of theatre by the umpire, that looked plumb to me.
End of Over 33: 173-3, runrate=5.24
Benamar 7-1-29-2
Weaver* 4 (2 balls)
Quintus 30 (40 balls)
Last Wicket: Chavhanga lbw b. Benamar 44 (FOW: 168/3)

End of Over 33: 152-4, runrate=4.61
Longrigg 10-0-44-1
Blenkinsopp* 72 (63 balls)
Thackeray 16 (19 balls)
Last Wicket: Lakhani lbw b. Longrigg 20 (FOW: 128/4)

Good bowling from Longrigg.

That was one poor last over. Doesn't look like I'll be touching 300 now so bowlers will have to have one heck of a performance.

End of Over 37: 190-3, runrate=5.14
Benamar 9-1-33-2
Weaver* 12 (19 balls)
Quintus 38 (48 balls)
Last Wicket: Chavhanga lbw b. Benamar 44 (FOW: 168/3)

Code:
37.2 [COLOR="Red"]W[/COLOR]	Handbury to Thackeray
[COLOR="Red"]Out! The bouncer does the trick. Handbury bangs it in hard and it's onto the batsman quickly. Thackeray shapes to hook but merely sends the ball directly up in the air.[/COLOR]
Another wicket, but the wrong guy. Just need to stop the other guy from scoring.

End of Over 38: 178-5, runrate=4.68
Handbury 9-0-42-2
Blenkinsopp* 79 (72 balls)
Muralitharan 1 (3 balls)

Geez Weaver is going poor these days.

End of Over 40: 204-3, runrate=5.10
Sawyer 10-0-50-0
Quintus* 44 (53 balls)
Weaver 19 (32 balls)
Last Wicket: Chavhanga lbw b. Benamar 44 (FOW: 168/3)

End of Over 40: 190-5, runrate=4.75
Handbury 10-0-45-2
Blenkinsopp* 89 (78 balls)
Muralitharan 3 (9 balls)
Last Wicket: Thackeray c. Riley b. Handbury 33 (FOW: 176/5)

How much do you reckon I'll be chasing, Syl?

Probably 260.

Weaver might well have found himself dropped after this knock.

40.6 W Elam to Weaver
Weaver charges down the pitch and attempts an ugly swipe, but misses altogether. Geldenhuys makes an easy stumping.

About time
41.1 4 Sutton to Quintus
That's in the air...and safe. A one-bounce four.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

Geez Weaver is going poor these days.

Maybe you should sell him?

End of Over 42: 207-5, runrate=4.93
Caskey 9-1-54-0
Blenkinsopp* 97 (84 balls)
Muralitharan 11 (16 balls)
Last Wicket: Thackeray c. Riley b. Handbury 33 (FOW: 176/5)

12 from that over. Really really poor bowling from Caskey. In the past 5 overs, he has conceded 46 runs. After 4 overs he had 0/8 from 4 overs.

86k IN GATE RECIEPTS!!!!! OMG!!!!!!

12 from that over. Really really poor bowling from Caskey. In the past 5 overs, he has conceded 46 runs. After 4 overs he had 0/8 from 4 overs.

Going to try 200k as thats how much a replacement would cost.
Hopefully I can keep getting 8-9 an over which would take me close to 290.
End of Over 44: 231-4, runrate=5.25
Sutton 7-0-50-1
Steele* 12 (11 balls)
Quintus 56 (64 balls)

Muralitharan* 16 (22 balls)
Blenkinsopp 109 (91 balls)
Last Wicket: Thackeray c. Riley b. Handbury 33 (FOW: 176/5)

Terrible bowling from Caskey. 56 in the past 6 Caskey overs.

Code:
44.2 [COLOR="Red"]W[/COLOR]	Lisbie to Muralitharan
[COLOR="Red"]Gone! Muralitharan has been done hook, line and sinker by Lisbie's slower ball.[/COLOR]

It wasn't Blekins!!! :mad

Lisbie 8-0-38-3
Habens* 2 (4 balls)

Libse is awesome.
44.2 4 Elam to Steele
The straight drive bisects the field. Shot of the day so far!

45.3 4 Sutton to Steele
A phenomenal shot from Steele's arsenal. Clearly looking to impress today and maybe looking to give the selectors a headache ahead of the next game.

46.2 4 Elam to Quintus
Fantastic shot, driven straight through the covers.

46.4 4 Elam to Steele
Overpitched and Steele walks into that one with an exceptionally elegant straight drive which cuts between the men at mid off and mid on.

End of Over 47: 260-4, runrate=5.53
Elam 9-0-51-1
Quintus* 65 (70 balls)
Steele 30 (23 balls)
Last Wicket: Weaver st. Geldenhuys b. Elam 20 (FOW: 208/4)

45.6 3 Tahir to Blenkinsopp
The ball didn't quite make it to the boundary because the outfield is a bit slow in that corner of the ground, but the batsmen were still able to take three.
45.5 4 Tahir to Blenkinsopp
He waits on it and then drives well through the covers.
45.4 1 Tahir to Habens
That's a neat little late cut through the vacant third slip region for a single.
45.3 4 Tahir to Habens
Habens has punished that straight past Caskey in the covers.
45.2 1 Tahir to Blenkinsopp
Blenkinsopp's worked that nicely between the fielders for a single
45.1 1 Tahir to Habens
On the toes, flicked around to deep mid wicket for the single.

Big over that I didn't need. Tahir is bad at the death.

Libse is awesome.

Lisbie. ;)

End of Over 46: 247-6, runrate=5.37
Tahir 8-0-56-0
Blenkinsopp* 118 (95 balls)
Habens 8 (7 balls)
Last Wicket: Muralitharan b. Lisbie 20 (FOW: 229/6)

LISBIE!!!!!

Code:
46.4 [COLOR="Red"]W[/COLOR]	Lisbie to Habens
[COLOR="Red"]HOWZAT? Given him. A neat catch by Bridges after a good piece of bowling by Lisbie. Habens just didn't have an answer.[/COLOR]

Code:
46.5 [COLOR="Red"]W[/COLOR]	Lisbie to Walton
[COLOR="Red"]Gone! Lisbie has bowled Walton with a yorker. To top it off, Walton's broken his bat as he slammed it into the pitch trying to keep that delivery out.[/COLOR]

He misses out on the hattrick.

Code:
46.6 .	Lisbie to Walton
Lisbie hits the deck hard and the ball veers up at the batsmen. Wisely left.

End of Over 47: 250-8, runrate=5.32
Lisbie 9-0-41-5
Blenkinsopp* 120 (97 balls)
Walton 0 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Walton b. Lisbie 0 (FOW: 250/8)

Lisbie is a star. 5 wickets. Best figures for him!

What a legend and I see Murali doing some catching :p

47.5 4 Sutton to Steele
Steele edges a quicker ball just wide of Geldenhuys for four.

End of Over 48: 268-4, runrate=5.58
Sutton 9-0-67-1
Steele* 36 (26 balls)
Quintus 67 (73 balls)
Last Wicket: Weaver st. Geldenhuys b. Elam 20 (FOW: 208/4)

Hopefully another 20 from the last two to get me to 288.
