That's what I was most suprised about, considering they have both a strong top and middle order.

Fieldhouse isn't a very good sport...

4.4 . Gilroy to Finch
Sometimes I wonder if Fieldhouse has ever been to a fielding practice session. It's ok to bat and bowl but even the superstars have to field.
4.3 W Gilroy to Bradford
Bradford tries to force Gilroy to leg, he gets a top edge and three fielders converge on the ball... Bittner's safe hands take the catch.
4.2 W Gilroy to Appleton
Appleton tries to force Gilroy to leg, he gets a top edge and three fielders converge on the ball... Fieldhouse's safe hands take the catch.

Dam I got a worthless bowler bowling in my GFI. Forgot to change that over :(
End of Over 17: 133-2, runrate=7.82, reqrunrate=9.67 (161-4)
Fernandes 3-0-15-0
Hooper* 19 (18 balls)
Gill 51 (29 balls)
Last Wicket: Lee c. Branch b. Patrick 50 (FOW: 98/2)

----------

Haha he just got our a miraculous batsmen!

17.4 W Esaia to Gill
Poor shot by Gill, who scoops the ball to Ray at midwicket.

T20 are so annoying, they are essentially win the toss, bowl first and win. I have lost my last 2 games in the final over, the last one on the last ball where I was vastly superior.

End of Over 42: 164-2, runrate=3.90, reqrunrate=9.75 (241-4)
Hinton 6-1-21-0
Hadland* 69 (121 balls)
Crowe 10 (5 balls)
Last Wicket: Higgs c. Branch b. Fernandes 81 (FOW: 151/2)

Very interesting finishing coming up, Crowe is the key wicket.

Been in this position a few times against WC before the choke.

End of Over 15: 60-0, runrate=4.00, reqrunrate=4.17 (205-10)
Clough 1-0-7-0
Fredericks* 34 (39 balls)
Branch 26 (51 balls)

Ok, going alright in my first FC match of the season, although Fieldhouse got a wicket on the first ball of the match and we had them at 3/2 early on but they managed to fight back to 133/4.

End of Over 55 (2 runs). Puntroad Sloggers: 133-4, runrate=2.42
Overs left today: 55
Fieldhouse 14-5-26-2
Moncur* 45 (146 balls)

Staton 4-0-22-1
Nock* 15 (13 balls)
Gatting 7 (8 balls)

Last Wicket: Gayer lbw b. Staton 14 (FOW: 33/2)

Not going too great, two early wickets, including the big wicket of Bittner but now it's up to Gatting to get us to a total over 220 if we want to be competitive and progress in the Cup.

Well Gatting has been superb today leading the way to a total which looks like it will be close to 280, if we can keep going.

End of Over 39: 204-3, runrate=5.23
Louis 8-1-38-0
Gatting* 82 (85 balls)
Euell 41 (34 balls)

Last Wicket: Nock c. Moloto b. Xhosa 52 (FOW: 144/3)

Nock getting out ended up being nice as he took 94 balls for his 52 and now Euell has scored very quickly.

Well we can definately win this now.

End of Over 50: 289-4, runrate=5.78
Staton 10-0-58-1
Von hoesslin* 5 (2 balls)
Euell 75 (66 balls)

Last Wicket: Gatting Run Out 128 (FOW: 284/4)

Gatting completely dominant with the bat before being run out in the final over.

Wow, a nailbiting match as they scored 285/3 from their 50 overs, as we win by 4 runs. Rowe starred with 1/35 from his 10 overs.

SOB Hinton decides to have his best bowling display in ages (3-27) when I decide to sell him.

End of Over 35: 143-7, runrate=4.09
Clarkson 8-1-41-1
Mcallister* 24 (40 balls)
Whitelock 9 (35 balls)
