End of Over 16 (6 runs, 1lb). Hedgers XI: 139-1, runrate=8.69
Trail by 11 runs. (Devils 150-10)
Overs left today: 11
Parle 1-0-6-0
Euell* 63 (48 balls)
Bittner 74 (47 balls)

Last Wicket: Clist lbw b. Omeara 0 (FOW: 3/1)

Too easy. Can't believe Clist got a golden duck. Already nearly caught their total and not even 20 overs have been bowled yet.

Going along nicely. Hopefully they take a bit longer to score the 600 I want them to so that I get Day 3's gate receipts.

End of Over 45 (8 runs). Hedgers XI: 295-1, runrate=6.56
Lead by 145 runs. (Devils 150-10)
Overs left today: 92
Norris 11-0-84-0
Euell* 151 (139 balls)
Bittner 138 (132 balls)

Last Wicket: Clist lbw b. Omeara 0 (FOW: 3/1)

lol, Euell finally took a catch.

10.4 W Fieldhouse to Fraser
Hell's bells, how did he get to that? Brilliant fielding of the highest order from Euell in the slips, Fraser applauds as he wanders back to the pavilion.

After this.

0.4 . Fieldhouse to Mansell
Smashed firmly to cover point, but Euell has dropped him. Will that prove costly?

3.4 . Clayden to Fredericks
Dropped. Driven to long on and it goes straight through Euell's hands. A very easy catch goes down.

8.2 . Fieldhouse to Killen
Dropped. Fieldhouse managed to hit a crack in the pitch which decieved Killen, only for Euell to fumble the catch. Fieldhouse looks on in complete disbelief.

And now this :facepalm

11.4 . Gilroy to Killen
Bat, pad, hand and grass. Ramsey really should have held that one.

The young 18 year old bowler puts it down. Isn't the worst fielder with feeble fielding but he'll get better since I have him on a fielding net. But Euell has no excuses. Proficient fielding so he really should be doing better than that.

End of Over 12: 20-5, runrate=1.67
Gilroy 1-0-1-0
Killen* 2 (16 balls)
Wilberforce 0 (2 balls)

Last Wicket: Fraser c. Euell b. Fieldhouse 0 (FOW: 19/5)

Great bowling from Gilroy and Iftikhar.

Gilroy - 5-3-2-3
Iftikhar - 3.2-3-0-2

Chased down their great total of 27 in 4.2 overs as I won by 10 wickets :p

lol, Prit's India Rules & my team are in same OD league & we are playing straight away in this season's opening OD match :)

Not a bad start against his good team,

End of Over 13: 73-1, runrate=5.62 Leader 7-0-37-1
Singh* 20 (14 balls)
Hogg 32 (39 balls)

Last Wicket: Bishop c. Badar-un-nisa b. Leader 21 (FOW: 40/1)

All HT needs is one good/big partnership. Com'on Tigers! :thumbs

The match went down the wire till the last ball. India rules needed 3 from 2 balls & Hoggy did this,

49.5 W Hogg to Kolle
Got him! Kolle goes pushing at a full, away swinging delivery as the thick edge is snapped up by Gayle to his left at second slip.
49.6 W Hogg to Chanderpaul
A simply stunning catch by Stock. Diving low to his right, the ball fizzed through the air and into his grasp.

Singh 136* (117 balls)
Hogg 85 runs & 3/74 runs ( MOTM )
Naidoo 3/45 runs

are some key performances that has led us to the victory by 2 runs in seasons' opening match in Div 2. :)

End of Over 3 (Maiden). Mental Blank: 1-2, runrate=0.33 (1st Inn: 92-10)
Trail by 180 runs. (Leos Lions 273-10)
Overs left today: 75
Mirfin 2-2-0-2
Richardson* 0 (8 balls)
Rodgers 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Lampard b. Mirfin 0 (FOW: 1/2)

Getting absolutely rolled here. They collapsed in their first innings but my efforts haven't been much better. I knew I should of played Dunn so Davidson could been the 3rd seamer, instead of being wicket-keeper on a cracked pitch at home instead of playing 3 spinners and had stronger batting.

End of Over 39: 156-2, runrate=4.00
Liddlelow 10-2-17-0
Whaley* 79 (117 balls)
Danvers 22 (66 balls)
Last Wicket: Staunton b. Nkhangweleni 37 (FOW: 88/2)

Green pitch, Liddlelow and Parol combined went for 47 runs in 20 overs. Gun. But not wicket. Bleh.

Nkhangweleni has gone for 49 in 8. Definite weak link in the bowling.

Great win in our BT20 opener. Prinsloo made 65* off 59 on debut while Bittner finished 99* off 45 balls with 8 fours and 6 sixes as we made 199/1 from our 20 overs.

Gilroy then ripped through them with 6 wickets, with 3 wickets in his final 4 balls to finish with 6/10 while Roff also bowled well on debut taking 3/4 off 2 overs. Iktikhar took the only other wicket.

Another dominant performance in my One Day match. Clist would have definately went on to make a maiden OD double century but ran himself out. Only his third career OD century in 157 games. Hasn't had a very good career though. Averaging 25.63 in 157 OD games, averaging 13.48 in 95 FC games and averaging 22.83 in 106 FC games.

End of Over 35: 265-1, runrate=7.57
Oshea 6-0-43-0
Bittner* 103 (90 balls)
Nock 12 (10 balls)

Last Wicket: Clist Run Out 150 (FOW: 239/1)

Nock's batted well on club debut and could go close to scoring a hundred if he takes most of the strike.

End of Over 47: 374-1, runrate=7.96
Ellis 9-0-87-0
Nock* 76 (53 balls)
Bittner 146 (119 balls)

Last Wicket: Clist Run Out 150 (FOW: 239/1)

Well Nock has seemed to be a good buy already.

1.4 W Iftikhar to Hadland
Hadland gets a big edge, Nock takes off and at full stretch takes a fantastic catch. Hadland stands his ground questioning if the ball was taken cleanly. Both umpires have no doubt and Hadland is sent on his way back to the pavilion.

2.3 W Fieldhouse to Mcgreal
Thick edge... and taken by Nock! That was a great catch, diving full stretch to pouch it in front of first slip. Big celebrations from Nock while Mcgreal just looks on in disbelief.

2.6 W Fieldhouse to Canning
Bowled by Fieldhouse caught by Nock. An absolute gem of a delivery by Fieldhouse, pitching on off, seaming away and finding the edge to the dismay of Canning.

End of Over 3: 8-3, runrate=2.67, reqrunrate=8.53 (408-1)
Fieldhouse 2-1-4-2
Lewis* 0 (3 balls)
Maylett 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Canning c. Nock b. Fieldhouse 0 (FOW: 8/3)

After scoring 87* with the bat, his career top OD score.

End of Over 50: 408-1, runrate=8.16
Campbell 10-0-86-0
Bittner* 168 (130 balls)
Nock 87 (60 balls)

Last Wicket: Clist Run Out 150 (FOW: 239/1)

Well easy win, bowling them out for 51 as Nock takes 6 catches to go with his 87*.

Reporter Summary

Lower Order: abysmal worthless
Seam Bowling: quality woeful
Spin Bowling: superb useless
Fielding: mediocre woeful

You bashed a bot, nothing to be proud about :p

Although I nearly lost to one in an early cup game...that'll teach me to rest almost my entire starting XI and assume tried trainees and Med/Med/Meds to get the job done, along with one all-round worthless player bowling...

Well this wound me up, especially as I only needed 4 runs off the final over :(

End of Over 53 (3 runs). Livingston Lions: 157-4, runrate=2.96 (1st Inn: 177-10)
