Not looking too good for you Sean. He could make 300 unless his lower order is shocking.

Finally Mohammed gets a wicket, something to build on next game. Finishes up with a maiden.
36.5 W Mohammed to Mckenna
Masibulele goes up with a big shout for an edge. It's been given! That must have been the faintest of nicks.
End of Over 40: 161-4, runrate=4.03
Hamed 10-0-33-0
Thay* 78 (91 balls)
Ingram 1 (13 balls)
Last Wicket: Mckenna c. Masibulele b. Mohammed 21 (FOW: 158/4)

39.2 W Shaka to Mcleod
Mcleod went for a cut shot off a short, wide delivery but played on to the stumps. A real bonus for Shaka!

Theres the last wicket. All bowlers have bowled very well picking up wickets. Shaka 2, Fowler 2, Ryno 3, LEeds 1, Holland 1 with 1 Runout

Nicely done Brett should be an easy enough chase for you.

41.1 W Sam to Ingram
Sam bowled that one just short of a length and outside off stump. Ingram spars and a thin but oh-so-audible nick is heard all over the ground. Ingram doesn't wait for the decision as a jubilant Masibulele hurls the ball to the heavens!

End of Over 42: 175-5, runrate=4.17
Sam 6-0-25-1
Thay* 83 (96 balls)
Cockerill 6 (3 balls)
Last Wicket: Ingram c. Masibulele b. Sam 4 (FOW: 167/5)

End of Over 41: 214-3, runrate=5.22
Handbury 6-0-25-0
Cole* 8 (14 balls)
De souza 35 (40 balls)
Last Wicket: Ridge c & b. Alnwick 99 (FOW: 188/3)

I'll be chasing 280+ I think.

End of Over 41: 214-3, runrate=5.22
Handbury 6-0-25-0
Cole* 8 (14 balls)
De souza 35 (40 balls)
Last Wicket: Ridge c & b. Alnwick 99 (FOW: 188/3)

I'll be chasing 280+ I think.

Some major cleaning up.
42.2 W Hitish to Cockerill
Through the gap; Cockerill was all at sea. Superb bowling from

42.4 W Hitish to Thay
Picked up to the region of deep square leg and Hamed takes a brilliant diving catch. Well done that man.

Mr Death into action

43.3 W Sam to Howell
That's seamed in from well outside off. Howell offers no shot and the umpire has no choice but to give him out.
43.5 W Sam to Sadlier
Well it wasn't fast, had no uneven bounce nor seam movement and there seemed to be no distractions. Back to the nets for Sadlier.

Hitish gets a well deserved 5 fer.
44.3 W Hitish to Wingham
OUT! Good ball, hint of movement away, Wingham drives and gets an edge, Masibulele takes an easy catch .

End of Over 45: 179-10, runrate=3.98
Hitish 7-0-28-5
Hall* 3 (3 balls)

Very gud job Syl in bowling :clap

Well my match with Didcot CCC just started.

We can tell you that Didcot CCC won the toss and elected to field.

So we have been put into bat first. And scorecard at the moment,

End of Over 15: 83-0, runrate=5.53
Pieters 8-0-43-0
Bartlett* 39 (41 balls)
Rampaul 40 (49 balls)

Here are the wickets so far.

41.2 W Caskey to Cole
Advanced, went for the big hit and picked up straight to wide long on for an easy catch.

42.3 W Handbury to Knight
Yes, no, sorry is the call out there. Knight has been stitched up by his partner there.

47.5 W Tahir to Cam
A massive edge and it's caught behind by Vusi!
47.4 W Tahir to Breen
Great reaction catch by Vusi, taking a ball flicked down leg side at full stretch.

48.1 W Handbury to Malcolm
Got him! Looked to turn a slower ball away on the leg side, but caught the leading edge and a simple return chance is taken.

48.5 W Handbury to Francis
Francis comes forward to a shorter ball just outside off stump, straightens off the seam and finds the probing outside edge, straight through to Vusi.
48.4 W Handbury to Mohammed
Nicked and gone, good catch by first slip. Tahir had a hard time keeping his eye on that, especially since Vusi was diving across in front of him.

End of Over 49: 286-10, runrate=5.84
Handbury 9-0-46-3
De souza* 86 (64 balls)

My batting

0.1 W Francis to Barraclough
Attempted sweep by Barraclough, bottom edge onto his boot, the ball loops up and an amazing, swooping catch by Breen! Referred to the third umpire to check it didn't hit the deck.... OUT!

3.5 W Mohammed to Riley
Riley went for a cheeky single and paid for it when Ridge's superb pick up and throw hit the stumps. Out!

6.1 W Francis to Vusi
Vusi has gone down the wicket to Francis's delivery and hit that straight up in the air. Breen is chasing it, he's right underneath it and safely held. OUT!!!!!!

11.3 W Malcolm to Bridges
Oh dear. Bridges only half commits to that delivery and a feeble piece of strokeplay gives the keeper an easy edge. A bread and butter catch for Breen that one.

Was in quite a bit of trouble, but Saich and stand in player Cohen have saved me.

End of Over 37: 226-4, runrate=6.11, reqrunrate=4.69 (286-10)
Ridge 9-0-39-0
Cohen* 78 (88 balls)
Saich 95 (83 balls)
Last Wicket: Bridges c. Breen b. Malcolm 24 (FOW: 70/4)

But if I lose one more wicket, I'm screwed.

End of Over 26: 115-3, runrate=4.42
John 8-1-32-2
Sagren* 50 (65 balls)
Dangasela 19 (30 balls)

I expected better...

Wickets:

1.5 W John to Harley
Short, hooked to deep backward square, Manning running wide from fine leg taking a brilliant catch.
5.3 W John to Moodley
Good length ball outside off stump, nipping in off the wicket. Moodley moves forward and tries to square drive, but only manages a big inside edge onto the stumps.
14.6 W Manning to Robson
Robson drives at that one and Manning just hurled himself at the ball to take the catch. Manning, backing him up, would probably have caught that as well.

They all bowled almost similarly, but i expected more wickets to fall...

Good start for you Suren.
Close game there Sean.

10 wicket win for the Baggy Blues Masibulele 84 and Germon 93.

39.3 6 Malcolm to Saich
Amazing. Hit well over the stand and out into the car park. Take your hats off for Saich
And that's a century for Saich! Well played indeed Sir!

:D

Beautiful comeback Sean... And game in balance for voldy/viral. And excellent win there Syl :clap

And in my match, game got slowed down... Rampaul/Bartlett got tired after their fifty i guess.. :p And Rampaul gives up..

22.3 W Hodge to Rampaul
'C?mooo sea esoooo?' screams Hodge who has just returned from a holiday in Spain. 'Out' replies the umpire.

" C?mooo sea esoooo? "
means :what What language is it actually ;) sounds nice though :p

End of Over 30: 155-1, runrate=5.17
Angell 5-0-26-0
Malik* 17 (20 balls)
Bartlett 71 (91 balls)
Last Wicket: Rampaul lbw b. Hodge 58 (FOW: 121/1)

I request Bartlett to go to pavilion please.. He is wasting too many balls now:mad:

27.1 4 John to Dangasela
Loose delivery hoiked away to mid wicket.
27.6 4 John to Dangasela
There is only a matter of feet between those two fielders, but Dangasela separated them as though it were miles. A boundary to tell to the grandkids about!
29.5 4 John to Sagren
Oh that's magnificent! Four runs through the covers.

Not exactly happy with his bowling...

End of Over 30: 134-3, runrate=4.47
Dangasela* 30 (35 balls)
Sagren 56 (84 balls)

John 10-1-47-2 - nice figures in the end...

I need wickets :(

Sinhala Ranaweera have picked Dharmasena, Murray, Stanley, Aziz, Duminda, Wijenayake, Manning, Cash, John, Whittingham, Ryno.

Really, i dont trust in that battign lineup... Aziz not bowling today, only handling the bat...

30.3 W Manning to Sagren
Sagren tries a reverse sweep and is bowled! What on earth was he thinking? That was brainless batting.

Finally...

I've had a massive collapse and a good chance of losing.

40.6 W Francis to Alnwick
Nicely flighted ball pitches on middle and off stump, spins across Alnwick who tries to sweep but misses the ball and is bowled behind his legs.

40.5 W Francis to Saich
The gap between Saich's bat and pad could have let an oil tanker through. Saich's stumps are scattered and he trudges off despondently to the pavilion while Francis is engulfed by his team mates with Breen and Cole leading the high fives.

42.5 W Francis to Handbury
OUT! Thin edge and Breen takes a textbook catch.

Cohen is still in and only 15 runs are needed. Close match.

I always say that, whatever i say, my team players follow it immediately :p

32.2 W Mcveigh to Bartlett
Short and hoisted away backward of square leg. Wow! What a catch! Durno has dived full length to his left and taken it one handed! Simply brilliant!

Gud innings by Bartlett though!

Alshaun/Malik has to survive the crucial stage now.. Lets see what happens!

End of Over 33: 170-2, runrate=5.15
Mcveigh 4-0-21-1
Malik* 27 (30 balls)
Alshaun 1 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Bartlett c. Durno b. Mcveigh 73 (FOW: 164/2)
