Won my game pretty convincly. Nice to see Dunn make runs up the order and Richardson making a ton. Here is the scorecard:

Possible wicket instead turns to a 6 :(

0.5 6 Hitish to Mohmand
Fabulous catch on the boundary…but the umpire's signalled six!! Quintus put his foot over the boundary to take the catch!

Clayden continues his good form

End of Over 2: 11-0, runrate=5.50
Clayden 1-0-2-0
Qadeer* 2 (4 balls)
Mohmand 9 (8 balls)

Clayden strikes early, hopefully he can pick up a few more as Hitish is up to standard.

3.4 W Clayden to Mohmand
Spectacular catch by Ray. With the sun in his eyes, and running blind, he's judged the flight of the ball beautifully.

I think if I ever asked Alan FC a question, it would be how relevant the commentary is to the actual event that took place.

Awww. 55 run opening stand comes to an end.

1/55 (7.0)
Barton 30 (20)
Browne 0 (2)

Bradshaw 4-0-30-1
Dixon 3-0-24-0

Yea I was thinking just that, was it always planned to be a 6 or would a better fielder have caught it.

My strong keeper just dropped a catch now

7.1 2 Clayden to Qadeer
Oooohh, Masibulele gets a glove to that but can't hang on. He glances at the umpire who confirms his worst fears by not signalling byes.

But Clayden produces another chance.
7.4 W Clayden to Qadeer
The corridor of uncertainty pays dividends as Qadeer tickles an edge behind.

End of Over 9: 34-2, runrate=3.78
Hitish 5-0-24-0
Yousuf* 6 (14 balls)
Gauhar 3 (6 balls)
Last Wicket: Qadeer c. Masibulele b. Clayden 14 (FOW: 28/2)

Actually...

11:00 BT-allanfc Catches don't always go to your stringest fielder, thats a fact of cricket I'm afraid. What you don't see at the moment is how may catcehs are dropped, but there are plans to change that in hte future

but that's still vague as to whether you do actually see legitimate drops.

Ramsgate RSL look like they regret sending them in.

Fighting Mongooses 1/80 (10.0)
Barton 45 (29)
Browne 10 (11)
Dixon 5-0-42-0
Bradshaw 5-0-37-1

Yea I did read that, question is if that was a elite fielder on the rope would he have caught it or would it still been a 6.

Wow Angry that is one awesome total so far.

12.1 W Hamed to Yousuf
Sweeps, and plays all over it. Large appeal for LBW, upheld by the umpire.
16.2 W Hamed to Alshaun
Plays defensively, but the ball moves off the pitch and takes off stump out of the ground.

End of Over 17: 76-4, runrate=4.47
Hamed 4-1-15-2
Gauhar* 16 (28 balls)
Suleman 0 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Alshaun b. Hamed 18 (FOW: 76/4)

Fighting Mongooses 1/143 (20.0)
Barton 74 (54 balls)
Browne 43 (46 balls)

Shackell 5-0-32-0
Faulkner 5-0-31-0

Despite selling most of my best players in recent days, I still had the Rabbitohs at 28/4 that is until my abysmal/abysmal bowler came on.

Browne out for 53 (61)

25.5 6 Dixon to Barton
That sailed out of the ground. It probably found the car park, which would explain why all of the car alarms are going off!
And that's a century for Barton! Well played indeed Sir!

Still running 7 rpo

Barton out for 103 (77)

Well played, but I can't help but feel like I needed more; I'm not confident of the middle order. I'm hoping my experiment with Way bringing some decent batting to no. 7 pays off.

How come you have an abysmal/abysmal bowler pal? Thought you could at least afford a med/med one.

That is one quick 100 by Barton could get 200 at this rate.

18.4 W Hamed to Gauhar
Oh that's magnificent! Cat-like reactions from first slip to take that catch. They'll be replaying that one a few times in the studio.

Finally got a breakthrough.

28.1 W Sam to Suleman
Suleman needs a feather duster, not a bat. He tickled at that one and is comprehensively beaten. Next!!!

End of Over 29: 101-6, runrate=3.48
Sam 5-1-15-1
Rizwanullah* 6 (31 balls)
Anjum 0 (5 balls)

I actually didn't bother setting orders thinking there was no use and the default orders had about 3 or 4 players who I sold recently, so it basically filled in random players in those slots.
