Why isn't there a game at the 'dome in this series?

They only played there last year due to the unavailability of the MCG.

And what would you do Einstein? Drop Hodge ok who for? The only other person is White and you don't like him either. So hmmm should we just go with 10 players then cause we aren't going to bring in some inexperienced player that hasn't played a game for us all summer.

I still think that Voges is a much better option than Hodge.

Dalrymple should have been dropped for Bopara. But the worse the team the better for us.

Whilst I will admit I haven't rated JD much, he does seem to be improving as a batsman in Odis, seems quite able to score reasonably quickly and early in his innings. However his bowling has unfortunately gotten worse.

Weather is looking fine at the SCG very sunny actually. No changes to our side but we're not batting first so Watson should be fine at 7 this time.

England batting first. hope the opening partnership perform for once. Broad not played because of a dry wicket which suggests they would drop JD for him. There doesnt look any signs of rain from what i've seen

Loye's sweep hasn't come off at all. maybe McGrath hitting him has had an effect! nice positive start and i hope we can make an opening partnership count today.

Well to hit that slog sweep against Lee is a tough one, I'm surprised he hasn't tried it on Bracken yet. McGrath is on so if hes ever going to get that shot away now is it.

A little off topic but today's paper seems to be all about Clark and deserving to be in the ODI team. Could be a surprise recall coming up.
