Definately not going to be easy with the heat and all but quite an odd pitch with a couple of patches of grass and that strip which will be quite handy for McGrath and Clark.

Now it seems that the pace attack seems to be the main target, but I'm glad they brought up the point of Hogg and a specialist spinner.

NZ dropped Patel for Marshall should have done it instead of Mason cause Patel is better than Mason and we struggle against spinners.

It would be good if Fleming was bowled first ball! If we batted first we could have smacked 350 which would have been great but now we have to chase and have a limit to our total, but the kiwis might give us a big total still

Well NZ have pretty much come into this match with the confidence that they'll win the toss. It's a long batting order so a lot is relying on posting at least 250+.

It's so hard, I don't want the Kiwis getting too big of a score as that means our bowling sucked and we might lose, on the other hand we don't need them all out for 50.

top first over by Lee, nearly hit the Green strip a few times. I wish Lee could bowl 20 overs! he seems like he is gonna be in that form where he bowls great line and length with pace

Great bowling by Lee, had Astle in all sorts. Could have had him the ball before which was an absolute ripper at 151.5 km/h. Got him next ball though.

Beautiful delivery. Bowled that one a little shorter and continued to generate good bounce. He continues his good form bowling first at the SCG.

wow, lee is on fire! It really should be mandatory for Australia to bat first in tournaments like this.
