It would be cool new feature in Career mode if AI can specify a fielding positions/role based on their fielding skills. Then AI can slot the player at that position if the field placement requires. Say for example player with skills can be

High reflexes - close catcher
High throwing- Boundary Raider
High catching - Safe Hands
High athleticism- single saver
*High May refer to more than 60

If skills are low and not up to Mark the player can be mentioned as Couch Potato or decent fielder.

So if the field placement requires a slip or silly point, the career player can be slotted there.

Yea, just saw the match, beast mode. Only guy I'd be scared seeing even if 36 is required of the last over.

I mostly care about the game play. I hope the animations are fast, real life like, not lethargic/floating animations like the previous versions. And I hope the edges are more realistic and should happen more.

DBC 14 was quite good when it came out, possibly the best ever since it was fun batting and bowling, and also realistic.

DBC 17 I agree was a bit of an issue, but Ashes Cricket they fixed it a bit.

Yes, I can't wait to see how Cricket 19 looks like as well.

Would it be a good idea to have a squad lists thread. So we know who's playing where. This will give the creative teams a secure base of research before they start creating.

For example, I have the squads from each county to hand, happy to list them.

A question to the folks who have played all the previous games (DBC14, 17 and Ashes): Is it possible that in career mode players who are not the "user player" have an equal chance of representing national teams based on their performance? I played DBC14 (no other game after that) and never thought of this back then, but people who have given plenty of hours towards all three games probably know or have seen it?

Good idea, I've got squad lists for international teams as well as a lot of domestic teams/tournaments around the world too. Squads are as up to date as possible. Want to help the brilliant creators out as much as possible and do my little bit of contribution too.

@MattW can you conform mate if we will have the same academy on 19 as 17 so that we can use on them on the same platform as I happy to help but want to make sure that us creator aren't wasting our time with the teams as England county started and would love to help if needed

Cricket 19 (PS4) will have 4k Ultra HD and HDR ??? They have Not mentioned on COVER (PS4)

Last time ASHES CRICKET was released with HDR and 4k ultra HD only for XBOX ONE and PC ... But not for PS4 ...

Again its doing the same for PS4 version in Cricket 19 sadly

That doesn't look good, given that Ashes Cricket came out more than an year ago.

That's because the standard PS4 doesn't have the hardware to support or run the game in 4K HDR.

Only Ps4 Pro does better with graphics engines probably
