For the bloke sooking about ai his some info for you of the eb site not sure if you have seen it or not
Cricket 19’s AI will develop strategies to attack your weaknesses, and target them with razor-sharp precision. When batting, the AI will rotate the strike to protect weaker players, and actively look for gaps in the field to target. When bowling, the AI will come up with plans of attack and stick to them with discipline.

With enhanced mechanics handling edges, fielding in the outfield, and batting against spin bowlers, underpinned by near real-world physics, Cricket 19 is truly the next level of cricket simulation.

I can't directly confirm that Cricket 19 will release in 2019, but I can reference you to the press release,

ECB Commercial Director, Rob Calder said: “We are thrilled to announce Cricket 19 with Big Ant Studios. We have a huge summer of cricket to look forward to in England and Wales this year and this is another great way for fans to enjoy all the action.”

Ha ha ha.. very diplomatic reply. Am glad you are in touch with all Cricket and non cricket talks here.

While not as true lately, I do find the reactions valuable. Everyone has very different things they list the things that matter to them most in making the new game - and it's a mixture of things that are done in Cricket 19, things considered but ultimately unable to be done, and in a number of cases, things that weren't previously considered that are now in the game, or at least noted.

A wishlist post or even a complaint about something in a previous title can raise a good point, and often can be easily addressed.

That said, obviously a lot of this thread is going to be anticipation and speculation based on what is known and out there, so I can fully understand when discussion turns to those topics, rather than comments on features and the like.

As I've said many times, I'm not involved in PR or anything for the game - I can't announce anything that's not public and I am usually not in the loop on when announcements are forthcoming.

I can try, where I don't think I'll be stepping outside that, to clarify things and answer questions; but I can't give 'news'.

Mattw is there something that you can disclose now without stepping out of the line. I don't even know the question i should ask to get a reply. May be something about the changes we can expect to see in fielding?

That was never the case. A streamer went to BA studios for some reason that's undisclosed and that same streamer said they were doing a stream on Friday night (Australian time I presume).

People immediately assumed they were connected but it wasn't the case.
