Cricket 19 General Discussion

I was referring to Coulter Nile and Stokes action which were Ashes Cricket 17 actions.
So what's the problem? At this moment we have no idea what actions have been added, judge after the game is in your hand ideally, or you could even watch gameplay videos when it comes back.

Read the article again, it says the market hasn't boomed in India, as many in India want to play realistic IPL. However, he doesn't mention if they ever plan to get licences for that. You can also watch the linked video.
If they could why not have a crack but I guess you do have great content creator out there, yeh watched it twice bloody hell I am keen as soon as I am done teaching some little kids I am flying to the nearest store grabbing the game and sipping on a nice large cap waiting for it to download

From what I can see so far game looks great, the graphics in Ashes were great but they look even better in Cricket 19 and with the improved AI, Scenario mode, overlay/menu layout and different celebrations like the little things of taking your helmet off to raise it when you get a ton as well as the Australian and England teams and most of the Australian state players being licensed along with the English stadiums to be used in the Ashes I'm very optimistic this will in fact be the best cricket game yet! Looking forward to it, only a couple of weeks to go till release! :p

Let's hope we can get a bit more positivity going in this server now that we've got some more info....

If they do ever plan to get IPL licenses it likely won't be for quite a long time as it'll probably cost BA quite a bit to secure licensing agreements with the BCCI.

By the way everyone I doubt we'll be getting licensed English Domestic teams as it doesn't mention anywhere in the article or video. It says around 200 players are licensed including the players in the Australian and England teams and most of the Australian state players. I didn't expect them to anyway as they would have to do scans for like 400-500 players for the English Domestic teams. Again I'm only speculating so they might actually have done it or might add them later on and are just keeping it a secret for now, but either way we have many brilliant creators in the community that can make the players look life like and create awesome teams anyway.

that unreal yeh maybe both county and aus domestic that why they maybe holding back on a couple of things bloody hell I'm keen sounds promising wonder if any more press will come out today that attended

The article says close to 200 players. It says most Australian state players, Eng and Oz Test players. It’s an Oz made game so they’ve covered Australia understandably. No mention of county players.

Merren says ...”close to perfect...”. Looking forward to what that looks like!

Sorry, was typing as you posted. Agreed re: number of and county scans.

Re: IPL, they could get all the other countries licenced, get the game popular and make India feel the odd one out!

Awesome news regarding the 200 scanned players, very cool. I know the Aus domestic were licensed after the game was released from Ashes Cricket, I wonder if they are fully licensed from the start for Cricket 19? Very exciting stuff! Looks like the embargo for first thoughts/articles are out so perhaps we will see more

Lots of good stuff at once... I can't able to handle it...
Night mode looks good in the image... Hope it will be better than Ashes Cricket...

Who else has released an article? The Cricketer and the other link posted above? Perhaps a new thread or stickied post with the links somewhere?

Bajo- dead good pr- barmy army where there

Nah, don't agree at all. I seriously think, they wouldn't have held the event at Lords if they were 'scared' to show off what they have.

That comparison with Ashes 2013 is horrendous, and though it is not even worth discussing, Ashes 2013 didn't have a trailer, nor any media event. It was just a disgusting memory that just needs to be erased from the crowd's mind. For me that disgusting game was the reason why DBC 14 had to be delayed.

Only thing I'd say is, that I am a bit restless that we have nothing in terms of how it looks in game, and this is the longest we have been without it ever since DBC 14. Now the release date is anyway less than 4 weeks. So we will know soon anyway.

I remember the poor sod from Ashes 13 that got sent out to communicate with ‘fans’ online... “Yes, this will be in the game, that will be in the game. We’ve redone the engine”, then the gameplay came out!!!

Loved the cartoon character type faces on Ashes 09. [HASHTAG]#arcadecricket[/HASHTAG]
