I was just replying to you to let you know. You'd already been warned by the staff previously and I didn't want you getting in trouble. You are allowed to have an opinion but this topic was not to be brought up again. If you want I will remove my post, is that what you want? Sorry for any misunderstanding.

Maybe threads need to be divided/added a little. Like they have been for past releases.

One for official announcements about features or release dates and discussion thereof.

One for wishlists, feature suggestions, speculation and discussion.

Wholly agreed, But I think we are a week short for that to happen , not much info about this game apart from that it is coming.

I'm surprised our gang leader 'Mr. van der linde' hasn't banned anyone yet. We've had a few different characters of fairly late, Dean Johnes was here not too long ago with his vedio and whatever else he use to say. Discussion moved forward. I'm actually 8, not 9

Dutch van der Linde is the greatest gang leader ever, have you never played Red Dead Redemption before!? Regarding Dean Johnes it's some guy who was apparently like 75 years old but talked like a 5 year old. We knew him as Dean Johnes, he was also the profile picture of this guy.

Anyway anyone up for a discussion actually about Cricket 19???

Moving on to the topic now, it would be nice in Career mode that if we can interact with our batting partner - instruct or get instructions from the partner on how to go about batting/chasing targets.

If we are the senior partner, we can instruct the new batsman and if we are new batsman we can be instructed by AI (senior partner). Does the improved AI work anything on this line @MattW ??

How is it possible to get licensed players like the likes of
Tendulkar
Lara
Gilchirst
Hayden
W.Akram
Amrose
Walsh etc
All retired not a member of any boards today
Then we can have fut and ultimate team
All retired guys

I play only cricket no other game i play ashes in 2 consoles at a time xbox x 4k and ps4 pro no 4k

I like the concept of your thinking, good idea! Who knows, they did say that there has been major changes/improvements to the game with the AI being one of those enhancements, wouldn't surprise me if this is included in the game especially considering we have seen the screenshot of Root (the skipper) help setting the field.

Something like this would be good in some form.

I think setting goals or restrictions not just to do with taking wickets or scoring runs would add some depth. Maybe you get issued captain's instructions at certain times around how they want you to play, save a match or score quickly.

Failure to do so, or more likely a failure to attempt to do so, could have a knock on effect in terms of your selection. If you're not a team player it might hinder your chances at international honours.

I'm sorry mate, but I can't really help. I don't work with Big Ant and have never worked with a gaming company before so I don't know how licenses completely work. I don't think they would need licenses for retired players generally speaking though.

To add to this

While batting, at the end of each over the two batsman can exchange instructions like select an option from the following list
-Let’s consolidate
-Play your natural game
-Let’s Maintain current Run Rate
-Let’s increase the Run Rate or achieve the Required Run Rate
-Let’s go all out on the attack

Same while bowling, the captain (ourself) can instruct the bowler by selecting an option from the following list
-Go for wickets
-Play your natural game
-Stop singles
-Prevent boundaries
-intimidate the batsman
