Cricket 19 General Discussion

Any one expert can you put some input on this how difficult it can be or how does it work

On those guys you mentioned? All individual probably. Not covered by any umbrella license - you'd have to approach them direct, individually, and see what they would want to be licensed in game. And, potentially, there are then complications around how they could be used (you could get their likeness that way, but potentially not any kit/uniform or anything that could be claimed by another 3rd party.

In short - you pay people individually for the right to use them. So only like about 1000 separate agreements for face and names alone.

In short it's not easy.

Ok i feel these elite cricketers wont be that expensive as only few are into commentry and rest doing nothing or into bussiness.
As cricketers emotions they will love to be a part of cricket field when they know cant play in real life.
Uniform they can have fresh designed by big ants.
Big ant can tie up with 8 marketing companies from 8 test playing nation and try to get the licenses of these ex cricketers.
As off now except australia and England i dont think big ant will be able to get any lincenses in next few years .Bcci license not possible in next 10 years at least.
So if they want to create a fut or ultimate team kind of stuff best bet with is with the retired guys.
For example a 1996 world cup
We just need around 40 players each country
320 players to have a ultimate team kind of stuff.
As cricket online users are less compared to fifa so 300 players will be good enough to start with.
Just imagine buying Gilchrict using Xp points.
They just need to tie up with Mukesh Ambani things will be easily done.
One arrow all targets hit.
Mumbai indians team owner.
As any cricketers around the world visit his office in just one call he has that kind of impact.

I was thinking last night I'm not sure if it a shocking idea or what let me know your thoughts I was thinking that big ant should actually employee someone from the community to actually work on strictly the academy like each day they can work on teams player different leagues keep updating the bats stadiums etc I really thinking that would be a great idea just my thoughts tho.

Agree, although they would need more than one person working on it because it is quite a task. The person would of course have to share the Academy creations under their own user ID so people can search and download when the game is released as Big Ant don't have a license for everything we assume so they couldn't include these things in the game.

They wouldn’t be able to employ someone to created licensed content if they don’t have the license in the first place..

Went through 32 Pages, and since I won’t probably be near my PS4 around May, so will anyway get a lot of time to see others reaction to the game, and then go ahead and buy it!

Sir, I think you should create your own thread and go through all the necessary steps that are involved in implementing your idea. Clearly it's too good to waste in this thread.

Don't forget to add Dean Johnes to the list of star players.

One more thing I would like to see is lower order batsman playing like they are suppose to and not try to bat like W.C.Grace.

Their footwork somehow looks very similar to technical batsman and can hang around painfully in many matches, where the top order has got out playing loose shots.

Though in real life lot of lower order batsman and capable of a decent stint with the bat some sort of a change should be there.

How cool would this feature be that would be a great edition

Certainly would be a nice little addition to the game. Saw it last night on Twitter but couldn't post the picture/link of it on here for some reason, probably because I'm on my phone it's much easier on a computer but that's beside the point anyway.
What is everyone else's thoughts on this, anyone want it to be added or you guys don't really care, let us hear your opinions!

Yes, it was very annoying trying to get the tail enders out, a lot of the time they would bat better then the actual batsmen. The 10th wicket partnership was always annoying, you don't wanna see a Jimmy Anderson bat like he's Kohli. Anderson batting like Jennings would be more realistic.

Was going to the article about Cricket 19 published last week. Picked up a line

“For the first time ever, a deep, rich cricket simulation will also be playable on the go”

@MattW It is something similar to FIFA Manager Mode ?

PS - @MattW you can let us know since this piece info on the game is already revealed in the news.

Maybe in this release or in future releases, I wish we had the management features of International cricket captain or Cricket Coach games with the gameplay of Ashes. Licenses or not doesn't matter gameplay should be addictive and rewarding. That will make up replayability.

If only Childishthingsand bigants would work together in the future!
