Cricket 19 General Discussion

Folks,

All games are at Lord's during the day and its always sunny in Online Ranked (not the custom mode).

How do you go about changing the stadium? Or at least randomize?

I remember AO Tennis had the same issue where it was only at one court.

Is this going to be fixed or is shou
You should just be able to click the stadium name in match settings and change it.

Hi all, didn’t know where to post this.

Can anyone give me some tips on spin bowling?! Whether on career mode or in a competition I can’t seem to get many (or any) wickets!!

I can bowl tightly for not many runs and have tried even the easiest setting with no change and bowled A LOT of overs.

Advice please!!

Platform: PS4
Game Version: 1.03
Game Mode: Casual
Match Type:
ODI
Teams used : New Zealand
Ground: Edgbaston
Over 1
Issue (one line description):
AI bowler stamina
Bug description (detail): Having completed their innings, New Zealand bowlers came out with hardly any stamina, and Southee's was down to zero after three overs. Roy, opening the batting for England has much reduced stamina too for no apparent reason.

Nailing the stamina has been a weak point for the game cross all its iterations. Most of the times stamina drops way too quickly. I would love to have a slider for stamina which reflects the rate at which players lose stamina. A setting of 100 (full slider) would mean the players never lose stamina, a setting of 50 would be the way it's in the game (default) and 0 would mean that players literally have no stamina or they lose stamina within an over. This would allow users to customize stamina as part of the custom difficulty settings and you can select what works for you.

Conditions have an extremely marked impact on gaming experience I am finding. A hard, dry pitch will give quick outfield conditions, conducive to high scoring from both human and AI. The ball races to the boundary. A slow, green pitch results in a slow outfield and an experience where the ball finds the edge often and batsman struggle to hit it off the square.

This is awesome.

Very true this observation. I’ve batted at the Riversde stadium in Durham northern England where the outfield is very soft and green - i’m 25-2 after 9 overs - can hardly get the ball past 30 yards most of the time along the ground and been caught behind after it skidded off the green pitch and I edged. Very tricky conditions very well represented.

This definitely happens , but I also think some of the custom stadiums have the first class boundaries pushed out too far. I played a game at Taunton and ran more 4s then I hit

Same as the ODI settings I had shared earlier. But bowling at hardest.

Can you post a link to the odi settings? Looks like I missed it and would love to see the settings you are using for limited overs format.

does career runs/ 50's / 100's , wickets add as per matches to player records ?? or is it just artificial ?

I used the turn on the option of watching the length and line marker from bowler's hands in ashes. That worked for me. Is this option present in Cricket 19 and is the new pitch marker a new feature added?

It's similar to what was in Ashes, i.e. you can choose to watch the line & length ball marker, or the pitch marker or both.
