I just read a hands on preview of gamesradar. Their take on AI is not very encouraging.

They say that it’s big on the ‘Pick up and play’ factor... yeah, if you’re playing easy level 5 over arcade cricket which kids might want.

Roll on veteran (I’ll admit I can’t handle legend) immersive Test cricket!

Oh and maybe those singles were good deliveries and remember batting team only get 5 wickets. It’s cricket, not every ball is gonna go to the fence and different players/teams will bat differently at different stages on different occasions. It’s all part of the beauty of the game. We don’t want generic opposition gameplay.

Counter point, that from a batting perspective 5 over AI should be easy - “go nuts from ball 1”...

Now there’s also the argument that - depending on difficulty, quality of users delivery etc. getting that single was actually a good outcome. Even the ipl has dot balls...

And of course I doubt they were playing the day one patch build either...

When we receive the game, how is it possible to download the real teams, player names and kits?

I see people have started to create these already. Are these going into a central database, where we only have a single source to download, or do we have a choice to download from a list of various peoples creations?

Secondly for console gamers, do we need to have online membership to access the database?

Only a few from a certain area are actually getting it. Prob a tiny drop in the pond.

The majority will get it fully patched.

Also.. nearly everyone who moans there tits off here still end up buying it. Then moan again haha!!

I asked a question earlier, regarding anthems at the start of the match. Whether it is for all teams. And I can confirm judging by this early gameplay someone has uploaded. Thatall anthems will be included too, Pakistan and India anthems being played at 02.05. (He hasn't downloaded created teams, players and kits so it's just default players)

you need an online account but it doesn't have to be premium. there is a feature in the game called the academy and this is where you can download the "custom" players, kits, stadiums etc. to overwrite non-licensed generic content with "real" ones.
