does he actually bowl 7 balls in the over. Coz ive seen at the end of the over a player wit 9.1 overs, but i wasn't sure if he bowled 7 balls in the over.

yes it does bowl 7 balls an over and the bowling stats doesnt reflect it either.
Another bug noticed today was I played a square cut shot and went like a speed of light and got a boundary but for some reason the screen still for couple of seconds and in that time I ran one run and got 5 runs out of delivery which should be only 4 runs

I have'nt experienced the 7 balls an over bug yet, but I just came across the save game bug. I click on resume, it makes the noise but...nothing. I have to abandon the game because I have no previous save games on any other slots! Why you ask? because I never had problems with loading games...now...argh
And about that running issue I was having. It's not that I can't get my batsman running right. It's the fact that I have to compensate for the buggy running to make them do it properly. If I see a fielder misfielding a ball, I don't bother! They would'nt run if I bashed my run key to pieces...well that is till about 10 seconds later when they start running and get stumped. Whoo, great thinking there.

Whenever you buy an EA cricket game, don't you ever think to yourself "Damn! Not Richie Benaud and Jim Maxwell agaaaain!" I mean really...their commentary is really bad. Not just bad, really really bad. Richie is like a robot and Jim is just his puppet. He never actually says anything important, just commenting on what Richie says. That is lame. A bit more commentary, one more CD worth of such extra things and it would be so much better.

Don't get me started on the commentary...
The more you listen to it the more ridiculous it is. The most innane comments at the most unappropriate time. I wonder whether the commentators are watching the same game as me LOL.
Check out the NRL Rugby League commentary, its done really well. Intentionally humourous at times.

I have never actually played any rugby games. Perhaps I should try one. Nothing can be worse than the bugs in Cricket 2004
I think I figured out why I am doing so well in the game though. My field setup against the AI is just too good for them. They have no answer to it! this is on the hard setting, so they don't get any smarter. Mind you, Australia did fractionally better against me than any of the other teams. They did'nt fall for the "caught behind almost every ball" trick. Just to let you know how bad it is...I had bowled Canada out for 13 runs...that is the total. Wohooo, bad.
I am wondering if it would be okay to put up a screenshot of my field setting? just in the hope that EA might stumble across it and decide "Hey you know...we really have to fix that! and everything else! While we're at it, let us make a brand new addon for free!" yes...fantasies I know, so what!?
The reason I am asking if it's okay to put it up is because it might ruin the game for others. Seeing that if you are in a tough situation, you just whoop out that field setting and Bob is your uncle the match is as good as yours.
That is also considering I figure out how to add a screenshot to a post. I am rather new at that.
