Cricket 22 General Discussion thread (Use bug report thread for issues/bugs/crashes | Patch notes in first post)

For the first time in few years I'm not happy about a game announcement because there are certain patterns of incidents waiting to happen.

1. BA will introduce a game with new features comparing C22.

2. BA will try to sort some of the existing bugs and screw up the new features added to the game.

3. 6 months down the line there would be no patches .

4. Ross Symons will block anyone who raises a valid question in twitter (if not already blocked).

5. 6 months down the line the game will look like a patched version of cricket 22 which will still be broken.

6. And yet again we will wait for c26 in the hopes of a better game.

I am still waiting for my Ashes 17 patch.

I can't see anyone telling about pc version yet
I have to buy Xbox or ps5 as cricket fan then?

When I playing and having horrible time with Cricket 22, I made my mind, not to buy initially or pre-order Cricket 24... But today after reading the news, my heart says go and pre-order the new game as soon as it's available... My heart and My mind never sync together...

Yeah to all those who feel they've been (justifiably) burnt by BA before, there's an option of not buying the game. It isn't the most exciting or glamorous option and you can't moan online to revel in the misery but it'll surely leave your pocket 60 dollars heavier and that counts for a lot in the current economy. Besides you always have a previous broken version of the game to go back to and reminiscence about.

It's been a while, everyone. The whole new thing about representation from India is making me so curious. Could be WPL, IPL or some former legends team. I am just happy the series is continuing, meaning they are getting enough sales to make future games, which makes me so so happy!

Well the problem is not spending 60 dollars. Problem is big ant gives a game which is very close to what we want and then break it again in name of patching then leave it at it.

Cricket 19 still has the falling keeper bug which is not rectified after 4 years of release.

Cricket 22 before last few patches, the bowler would run to get the ball which is near him than jogging which is currently done.

Some of the new shots that were there in the game at the time of release is not there in the game now.

They launch big ant league after months of release. Yet their rules and logics allow unfair players to get away with a small penalty point but win the game.

Thing is, they can really do better and give us a better experience if they want. They choose not because people like me ( earlier me who used to fight with strangers and supporting big ant on how committed they were to release a game during pandemic. That they deserve a lot more credit than the abuses they are getting. Eventually got blocked by cry baby Ross for asking a simple question) and people like you who paint the picture that it's okay to take whatever $hit they give us and not question about it.

I missed this. I think one thing I may have got right is that it could be some legends of Indian cricket being part of the game. I'll take that. For everything else there is the academy and @wasteyouryouth
