I'm on Xbox One and I was wondering if this is something that's still going to be patched or do you guys also have the option to add kit to the NZ team? I see the England, Australia and WI kits are locked, but NZ and Ireland's kits can be added.

To be honest, this is something I mentioned a while back to be added. For the licensed teams you get the official kits which are "locked" and can't be changed, but you are allowed to add some custom uniforms of your own. It will keep career mode fresh and exciting for longer. This is the main reason why I don't play career mode with a licensed team, because I like the freedom of changing playing kit whenever I get bored. And I know playing with three different options of playing kit will get old very quickly for me.

Has anyone been able to add after touch after taking a New Ball in a test match? I took one yesterday and lost the ability to add any at all.

I probably reinstalled the game 3 times by now, each time something was a little different.

Same here apparently, yet I’m currently playing with my own custom made NZ kit because I don’t have the real one yet. How are the licensed players for you, is Latham still black, Ajaz Patel white and does Southee have really tanned arms? Haha

Thanks mate. Luckily I didn't get my hopes up on that one. But I still don't understand why we can't add kit, or replace the licensed teams in career mode...

Sorry if it's been mentioned but is there no animation or shot direction for offside square of the wicket? At first I thought I'm not flicking the stick the right way but I'm literally doing a front foot shot and flicking the stick at 9am (for a right hander) and it just plays the cover drive animation and shot direction, reminds me of Cricket 2005/07 pre patches and it's quite frustrating...(I'm on PC for reference playing ODI match)

To figure this out... I played a 5-5 match and all I did was driving the ball to cover. Except spinners, all the ball went to fielders and when I played the shot flicking the stick to 9am it went to mid off just normal cover drive. Have raised a ticket and got a response that it's being looked at.

Quite disappointing that you can't play one of the most basic cricketing shot (cover drive) in the game. As you folks mentioned almost all attempts at cover driving go to Cover or Point fielder - no matter line & length of the delivery. The only gap you can hit is between mid off & cover fielder through the extra cover region. Even if you point stick at 9'o clock (broadcast cam) or 3'o clock (Batting far cam), you either hit the Point or Cover fielder against pacers. You simply can't thread the ball through the Covers region no matter what you try against fast bowlers.

The DBC17 feeling is quite obvious and glad I am not alone on this.

After the highs of DBC14 and Cricket 19 we were all set to witness the new BA games on the next generation.

Both the games were first to launched on a new next gen consoles - PS4/XB1 then and now PS5/Xbox (whatever the lastest version is).

Both the games had obvious glaring issues when launched and needed a lots of fixing with patches.

Both the games released seems like rushed and unfinished product of the final version.

Gave me DBC 17 vibes as soon as I saw cover drive is not playable. I mean at the very least Big Ant team should try out all the shots once against every bowling type to see things are working before releasing the game. Surely that's not too much to ask and is bare minimum in terms of testing the gameplay. Very disappointing to say the least.

Nope, they look the same as on your side. Bahahahaha Southee's arms look breathtaking. Remember, sunscreen shouldn't only be used for your face lads...

Haha good to know, don’t feel like I’m missing out too much now, especially given that my kit isn’t too bad and my Ajaz Patel is at least somewhat like the real thing

My initial expectation was for the game to build on Cricket 19 but at the moment I'll be more than happy if they can get it to a point where all the shots from Cricket 19 are playable. Hoping Big Ant do so else not going to bother with the game.

Ive decided im going to start submitting everything i see, to try and help improve this game.

The one at the bottom is just titled "bug" but its about no notification of a new ball being available.

I can imagine some peoples lists are far bigger than mine...

Really good effort but i dont think you get reply on these…. Bcoz wat i feel at moment BA themselves know vdout releasing beta this time, is not a wise decision and xbox version specially unplayable.

after checking few comments for ps, it seems ps version also having some issues.

but still hopeful BA will fix 70-50% issues via patching in coming 2-3 months and we must have patience

Been blocked by BigAnt and Ross just for reporting a bug. A bug. They can't take constructive criticism well and it's going to bite them on the arse.

They should just remaster Bradman 14 and call it a day.

Have been reporting bug for days. Never blocked. Only seen so far that unreasonable guys are blocked. Not saying you are one. Just my experience.

Reported 4 bugs in 4 different tweets. Maybe they thought I was spamming but this is getting a little too ridiculous. Just can't keep blocking people like that. They took the in-game player censorship crap to another level

But yeah, the game is atrocious in its current state. Every patch seems to take it one step ahead and two steps back. The feel of the batting feels hideous, thanks to the whole "accessibility" pandering. It's an insult for every veteran BA cricket fan out there. The least they could do is change the bloody assets lol.

Mind you, this is coming from a guy that defended them from all the "Bug Ant Studios" chants but I'm afraid they were right.
