Need to dial back the last steam patch.It undid a lot of the good the previous patch had particularly fielding and other throws..Good news Mel Jones has returned.Not sure what the point of having 4 commentators that all say the exact same thing is anyway.Wasted opportunity.Crashed once tonight on steam during ashes game 2 or 2nd test as they might want to call it.Still i am enjoying the game.Will start career mode once logos for counties become available.I think the fact its on 5 systems rather than 3 has swamped them tbh but they keep patching and working so its all good.I suppose once they sort out gameplay they will move to sorting out the academy and extra features.

I think for ODI lovers you can forget about this game for now;

Just skip to the middle it seems literally everyone I watch is having the same exact match in ODIs, 300+ huge totals. Like I said in previous post I've tested numerous variations of the ODI format and it's the same result everytime very disappointing tbh.

Have you tried it with everything on the easiest level bowling first?reason i ask is i am trying to find a middle ground with the bbl bowling first on everything easy bowled them out for less than 100.On the level I try to play with its 190-200 and hard to chase down or defend.

What are you setting to easy the AI difficulty or the Bowling difficulty? I believe I went down to Rookie AI overall difficulty and they still smashed me unless these changes dont take place in game and my bowling is set to Easy

You can't edit the opposing team during an Ashes series,the only thing you can do is edit them in team manager before you start the Series.

We could do in c19 why remove it in c22

Any idea how to get a refund from Microsoft? Digital purchase on Xbox but the game is unplayable in its current state. Paid $100 Aus for a game that you can not play would happily purchase again down the track at a reduced price or a heavy patched game but it has been over a week and likely head to two weeks post release of an unplayable game.

Already asked for mine, waste of time letting $100 go to waste waiting for patches that everyone else can get. Be it Microsoft or BA’s fault, either way is a joke

Played a online test match on hard mode with a fellow Indian. The game experience was really good. I would have rated it exceptional if the fielders weren't lazy as a snail. The after touch gives good shape to the ball after release. There are only good number of edges when bad shots are played.

Can anyone confirm whether or not the West Indies Test kit still has white caps instead of baggy maroon ones? I reported it on a ticket but haven’t seen anything in the patch notes.

It wasnt removed, its a bug, you can do it in other modes....

Yeah fine, but could say that but quite a few shots. There will be limitations.

interestingly EA’s games has a stroke variation attribute for each individual shot animation timing. Value of zero meant shot always went in same direction but increase the value for each individual timing of shot (early, ideal, late etc) resulted in plenty of directional variation.
Worked great.

Yep, if you leave the session, it doesn’t remember/record any of the previous sessions shots which is a bit disappointing.

ODI seems strange on this game. I’m scoring more than centuries in shield in one day but my highest one day marsh cup is 197. Seems harder to make shots/score runs.

I still have the same problem. I am on ps4 with the latest patch
