Cricket 22 General Discussion thread (Use bug report thread for issues/bugs/crashes | Patch notes in first post)

This is the worst patch regarding fielding which I've experienced since start, and they stated they've improved field, is it a joke??

Bugs( some old & new, besides regular ones)

-Fielders are kicking ball for 4, sliding over ropes, watching the ball on the boundary even they're watching at crowd side and catching the ball after ad board deflection:lol.
-Ai batsmen running out standing in crease. Jumping everytime even if they r inside crease
-Still golf shot six going on on Yorkers.
- sliders getting reset after restart sometimes
- very less edges from AI, giving wickets at will
- still backdoor square drive going for late cut, also for lofted shots, and commentator saying it square cut
Pros
- got 1st wicket as stumping, good one
- getting a variety of wickets,( edges are there but very rare)

I didn't do any download other than trying to search teams in the community which by the way didn't work. I so far worked with the community players and created India, Pakistan and South Africa teams. However today morning I checked, all the playface rosters look horrendous. The eye brows are gone and the whole face looks different. Anybody knows about it? I think I'm done with this game.

yup happening with everyone on diff platforms
maybe they'll fix it in the next patch
MAYBE......
 
I just had a drs review for LBW where all three were red and still given not out. It was supposed to be overturned. Has anyone else had this? Did they break the drs too?

Backfoot square cut getting replaced by late cut is the biggest deal breaker for me.

The basic requirement of a cricket game is not met if the AI chooses to play a totally different shot than the one the user has chosen.

Imagine grinding on the hardest difficulty and facing a genuine quick, you somehow manage to pick up the length quickly and look to cut it but the output is something so absurd it puts you off and makes you want to just rage quit the game.

I'm not even sure if they have acknowledged this bug anywhere.
 
My xbox version just got a 1.83GB update. Wasn't available yesterday. Anyone know what it's for? I'm blocked by Ross on twitter....

Had a press conference, was asked how I felt about us being favorites for the finals. Next thing is the new season started ?, looked at the calendar, we won the semi-final and Final, but as captain I obviously didnt get picked ?. Has anyone else had this, really annoying getting to the finals day, then not playing them.

Ive been made captain after a few games like 5 captain for a while like say 5 games then i can pick the team but not captain anymore

@MattW - this is what we were discussing the other day, are we getting this fixed in the upcoming patch on Wednesday?

It's essentially a hot fix mainly to address the issues created yesterday with stumpings occuring when a batter was still within their crease. (I haven't read Twitter for specifics either, I can't be bothered with it for issues like this!!)

They've definitely adjusted the running timings again too & there's another slight delay for the striker setting off to run than the previous patch too.

There's some other subtle changes too.
