So I'm thinking about how many things they would reveal in just a week. Let's say if they don't do anything tomorrow and nothing on Friday as well...provided the weekends are off, then we would have 4 days for the game. Those 4 days is when they would want to push out more so they can have a good start?

Or tomorrow they give us something and along with that, Academy as well in one go by tomorrow or Friday and that would be like opening it just a week before and then do a lot of promotion on the game day and the day before.

This is the trend these days as far as I know. Not going with either way might be fun :P

Well they must be approaching the deadline for submitting the game to steam etc so it gets released on the 25th.Once they have done that everything else will follow i would have thought.

well i just secured a PS5 today, so I guess I'll be buying this game after all - unless my wife kills me which is very likely.

delivery by 11 Dec though, which ironically is my birthday. so i doubt i'll be playing it on release day!

What does a storyline but not story mode potentially mean? And when it says that it’ll end but you’ll keep on playing? What sort of thing could this storyline likely be?

It must be an extended version of what career mode manager does in Cricket 19.

Story mode normally means a tightly, controlled story that spans 6-10 hours (think FIFA Journey) where as a storyline, could be something as simple as yourself and manager gaining reputation as you climb the ranks with characters sprinkled throughout for example.

Only recently I started playing Career mode in 19, not bad as I thought it will be. Only gripe is the low economy rate as a bowler. But enjoying it overall.

Are the rankings added in the game? Player and Team ranking in career mode would be a nice touch.

If you are a top order batsman cum bowler you get a lot of opportunities to earn lot of skill points. Virtually you can bat and bowl in every game (player fatigue is not an issue at all). Over the period of time it gets monotonous.

I hope in cricket 22, player fatigue is realistic. One can't go on playing every game with full fitness (at the start of the game) and the player fatigue must have an impact in the performance as well. That is when the career mode gets interesting.

I got retired hurt due to injury in one of the match and missed the next match as well. Batting all rounder - Opening batter and fast bowler.
