I’d have preferred the graphic pop up too as they’ve proven repeatedly that kind of contextual commentary is beyond them.

they’ve been claiming they use real world weather data since at least dbc17. The issue isn’t that data so much as the implementation.
True, will certainly be interesting to see if they have managed it this time, big tick if they have

Even if the weather would have impacted the gameplay, we would've never known it
As we couldn't see what the current weather was.

Exactly… It rains more in England in the game. Only issue is.. when it rains there’s not a cloud in the sky. There’s was a bit of a stutter with the answer. I still have my reservations.

This.

Also, in 19 there is rarely a time when rain delays actually affect the game. In real life you get full days washed out sometimes which then alters the approach the teams might take to force a result. In test matches particularly on 19 the AI run rate (both opponents and your partner batsman) is so high (almost always over 4 an over) that a few hours missed for rain makes no difference at all.

I'm not saying rain off days and days so matches end in draws all the time as at the end of the day it's a game and you want to play it but a new balance would be good.

Dunno about ODI or anything but in tests, regardless of where you were, there were only 2 types of rain delay: you either lost the first hour of the day, or it rained after about an hour of the day until lunch.

you don’t need a year of real world data to do that, but all the same claims were there. It’d also be 32 degrees 1 day and 17 the next, in England.

So guys what we can expect tomrow ? Trailer .. IGN Gameplay Or Bajo Video ??

Also bare in mind 19 was advertised with Real World AI and Tactics…

What is said and what it plays like are always very different.

AI Tactics was a big let off. They would keep bowling outside off with spinners without any boundary riders at all and similarly bowl short without enough leg side protection.

Maybe that's why they have only marketed new controls and the new career mode :lol
