I remember the flurry of excitment there was when screenshots appeared for Codemasters Ashes 09.......the players had arm hairs. Arm hairs!!! Oh My God!!!! Arm Hairs it must be good!!!!!

Unfortunately those very arm hairs seemed to impede players from stopping the ball gently roll over the boundary as the ball trundled slowly pass them.......

That may be the case but for most of us here the question is whether gameplay and game mechanics have been improved. If that is the case then as far as I am concerned the players could look like something painted by Salvador Dali for all I care.

Exactly if gameplay & mechanics are improved me and many in this forum will be happier.my bet if they correct batting shot animation smoothness thats a big win for BA unfortunately in dev dairies video i see clumsy and awkward shots so I am disappointed

I know what you mean the wicket and the shot in the video didn’t look good the unnatural feel of it. Hopefully we see different tomorrow

I wish we could have a Capture mode in the game where we can have settings like background blur, FOV to get such amazing Photos of the game..
We could do it from the Interactive Replay but there isn't an option for background blur.

I never know how to take screenshots..

On one hand they do look lovely. Especially that one of the batsmen reaching for his crease.

But on the other hand no one plays the game that zoomed in and on the video yesterday it looked exactly the same.

They do look nice though...

The bowled in the video is one of those ones where the actually shot animation doesn't seem to finish. The shots have very unnatural finishes to them.

That happens in lower difficulties.. That's the reason I don't trust these gameplay videos they show.. It's all loft the heck out on any length..

Hopefully sliding issue is completely sorted out along with through the bat edges and angled bat shots where the bat of the game has no sense to the kind of edge it gets..

Yeh the one where your due a wicket and it has to come like now lol I’ll only be playing test cricket on it and there was a point in c22 where it was perfect just after they had stopped the silly smack to long off I think you was helping them at the time
