That's just Tendulkar shot, he was just too short to play it like that.If there's one thing that could be added it would be this shot

They started the marketting for C22 with player cards which had player models and stats , then they had bajo videos explaining features, couple of developer interviews, IGN video and nets game.If memory serves me right, they used delayed marketing tactic for C22 (I hard passed on Ashes so don't know the intricacies of its marketing strategy). It was only two or three weeks prior to release that first images and videos of C22 began appearing. I think by now BA has come to realize that shorter the marketing window, lesser the potential buyers would get to see and then buy the game on very little info that they have. More exposure might convince some or many that the game might not actually be worth it. I mean, the more I played C22 the more convinced I became that I should trade it in for something else.
Worse it sells the better for us all.At this level of marketing, looking at the Cricket 24 game detail, it will make the game enjoyable only to people who loves to playing the game blindfolded.
A game that was supposed to be released in June, got postponed by 4 months and now we are less than 7 weeks from (expected) release. Still no clear cut details of the game is released. Wondering whether it is a cricket game or a country's military project??
@BigAntStudios @MattW @JNT BA if you don't care to advertise your game don't whine about it low sales.
Only for modding of Cricket 22 have they postponed the release for 4 months until October from June month end? surprisePlayer model and graphics look same, its looking just like they mooded cricket 22
AC Mirage and Spiderman 2 are day one must play for me on PS5. But I lost interest in Cricket 24 after the Ashes series is done and dustedYou either die a hero or live long enough to become a villain. That's the story of Big Ant. Its ironic how Big Ant began its journey by challenging the relatively bigger developer the "Trickstar Games" on its production values and marketing strategies through its own marketing strategy involving openness, and then as the journey progressed, especially with the deserving demise of the competition, Big Ant has ended up becoming something of a "Trickstar Games" itself: No improvement in the production quality, no openness in the marketing strategy.
I'll will not hold my breath. If the game is glorified C22 with only comprehensive license based upgrades but with the same mediocre visuals, anti-climatic feel, and unenthusiastic gameplay I'll hard pass on it. Other October releases like the Assassin's Creed Mirage, Lords of the Fallen, Alan Wake 2, Spider-Man-2, and Alone in the Dark will definitely and exponentially be more attractive games to buy over "BA's more of the same."

I 100% had an itch to play when the Ashes were on. It was quality cricket from both teams across a great series and I even came close to reinstalling Cricket 22, which is wild.AC Mirage and Spiderman 2 are day one must play for me on PS5. It is same for me too , I still used to play c22 in between with a custom ashes series with Home destination set as England which i always do (always thrilled to watch & play in England) & i was so excited for Ashes 24 ..................I 100% had an itch to play when the Ashes were on. I am 100% sure I won't have the same itch for the World Cup in a format the ECB cares zero about, especially now England have done Harry Brook dirty by bringing Stokes back in.
I am a Yorkie, after all......
Bit harsh that. You just have to look at the debacles behind AFL 23's botched launch and the lack of info surrounding Rugby 24 (due for launch in two weeks) to know what they're like as a company now.
To think Ross spent years on here and built a good reputation on his approach to the community. Nowadays he's head of a company communicating next to nothing while delivering games which make Ashes 2013 look like a playable Alpha.
That’s disgustingIf there's one thing that could be added it would be this shot
Far be it from me to criticise anyone for sledging the Aussies but I'm not sure it's going to translate all that well to the milieu of late stage game development.Bit harsh that.
Which bit?Bit harsh that.
