Cricket 24 - General Discussion

BA 2014: The (DB) cricket academy is the future for our wonderful community to customise teams and add equipment until your hearts are content. You're welcome, we're on this journey together and we love you xx

BA 2023: Get your grubby hands off our licenced players, we don't care that they've got made up equipment or don't appear in their international teams or don't look anything like themselves, you're not changing it. Oh and for good measure we're going to screw up all the hard work you've done in that stupid cricket academy so that none of you're Cricket 22 stuff works. Buy the game and be grateful we made it, bloody peasants.

With all the corrections needed, out of date data and missing players I wouldn't know where to start with modding the contemporary stuff.

Could be an opportunity to do all those retro passion projects I never have time to do.

That with no sliders changed ?

This might interest the Indian fans...supposedly there's a way to add licensed players to India...don't have the game so don't know if it's real.

how though?? i checked the tweet ,its doesnt tell you how

“Its rejoicing to play with licensed players with strikingly similar bowling actions. But only during cut-scenes can we even notice them. There is good audio improvements and lighting enhancements. Otherwise the game is very similar to Cricket 22s mechanics with a few updated shots and tweaks in gameplay.. Shots seem to connect well but bowling is very similar to previous games. Fielding is a let down, like they are playing in a parallel universe and slow motion.. Nothing feels new, player models are similar to 22.. Once they didnt release trailer early it was evident that its the same game... Wont buy if you already have Cricket 22, unless some drastic changes come in the upcoming patches especially updates to fielding and player models.. For better graphics Check out Dream Cricket 24”

The reviews on Steam are weird; why give it a thumbs up after writing this?

There’s a couple of recommended reviews where there’s just “lol” and “Camavinga”.

I'm guessing you add them through the player editor in the academy on the associated teams tab
