Just played the new patch for 40 minutes,very impressed,the graphics are great,loads of different dismissals,fielding was a huge step up,and I even had batsmen coming down the wicket to spinners.
I'd be quite happy if the game didn't get anymore patches,uploaded a short video with some highlights.

What are your camera settings?

First ball as a bowler in the new update AI plays a superb straight drive to the stumps at runners end. Bowler closely observes the ball without picking it up till the AI batsman completes the run. Bowler the picks up the ball and I spam the wicket button only for the AI to run again like a dumbass when the ball is in the bowlers hand. Had to restart the game. Was a one off, dint happen after that.

This seems an edge case. They aren’t hitting it to mid-off and running like before. But if they edge it onto the body and it drops onto the pitch, they set-off.

Yes one thing that bothers me is how they move in all directions like robots after a ball is bowled it’s like they are doing the inbetweeners dance on holiday (hope you know the one) no fluidity at all

This seems an edge case. They aren’t hitting it to mid-off and running like before. But if they edge it onto the body and it drops onto the pitch, they set-off.

I didn't have that either. They stopped the drop and go altogether. Wonder if short leg triggers something odd

Here are some of the new Player Visuals that have been updated from the latest patch.

Most of them look good. Sam Hain is not necessarily a playface, but he looks much better despite having a generic face. Topley looks like Gigachad. Carse looks like himself. Malan looks too happy. Santner actually looks like Santner. Ravi Bopara finally looks like the legend that he is. Matt Potts finally looks like himself. Overall, not bad from Big Ant.

Yeah that got much harsher a couple patches ago

I've had two in about thirty overs. So it's an improvement.

Everyone as usual batting at 3 runs an over whatever their mentality, whether they are Chris Tavare or a Viv Richards after a hard night with his mate Botham. Botham probably would have struck at 3 an over in this game too.

Other than that though, things feel solid, progress is being made for sure. Lyon is 0-28 on a green top and usually he has about four wickets by now.

Stokes and Root have put on 56 without me having to reload once. It almost feels like cricket again.

8 overs in first wicket a run out where he was 1/2 mile over crease but forgot to put his bat down. Try again tomorrow. Dynamic camera feels good just needs to stop shaking about makes me feel dizzy

Dynamic camera is quite good. But it zooms in too much just before the bowler releases the ball. I hope they adjust the zoom or at least allow players to choose how much to zoom in,
