Where? Are you referring to commentary name?

They added heaps of commentary names/teams/places that won't feature a stadium in the game... so when people create teams that aren't in the game they will have commentary.

That means Amsterdam and Aberdeen have a stadium? I think not, don't get your hopes up. I'd be surprised if Christchurch Gardens was the only NZ 'stadium' in the game... I don't even know which ground that could be replicating, the last time they played INT cricket in Christchurch was 2010. Would be a bit disappointing if Auckland or Wellington are not present.

Oh Damn, I was referring to this. But why would they place commentary for home grounds? It's not like this commentary is going to be used anywhere if there aren't stadiums. This doesn't make any sense. I still feel there is a reason why they recorded commentary for all stadium names. Abu Dhabi, Sharjah etc don't have their particular home team, yet they all are included in commentary. Surely they won't just add commentary to a thing that isn't going to be used anywhere?

PS: With the latest updates, Ross understandably removed all the game details in those hidden files but not to worry I got a backup, I will keep you all guys updated

Abu Dhabi, Sharjah etc don't have their particular home team, yet they all are included in commentary.

Well, actually both Abu Dhabi and Sharjah have local cricket associations along with the UAE National Team and Pakistan playing at both grounds as the "home" team during international series against touring sides (Afghanistan, Australia and England more recently). I would imagine the commentary options are simply so we can design teams how we like and for greater play-time longevity, as we know, things can change quite quickly over time so that giving the game more variables means more customization over a longer period.

Well, they're just names of places/cities. So people may want to make a team with that being their name, and will use it in commentary. Eg. Auckland is in there, but not in the initial stadium list. Then the 2nd line there is also Aces.

So if someone made the Auckland Aces then the commentators will refer to them using that name... made up teams will have a choice of home ground, doesn't mean all those locations are in though. I'm not too concerned about the lack of NZ stadiums if there is a few generic small grounds, most of the grounds here used for domestic are pretty small/banked. Though it seems there won't be any NZ 'stadium' grounds.

Would be awesome to see Queenstown though!

Why not leave it to Ross to declare the remaining features as a mark of our respect towards his awesome work. If he did get the game details removed then it is obvious that he would not like more details to be leaked ! Rest I leave it upto you :!

Anyways here you go - you can set days per match, innings per side, overs per day, balls per over to play a match. Atleast that's what I understand from these variables -

Not at all....you infact made our day(s) by releasing all that info we were wating so eagerly to hear ! Infact it is your info that has got everyone of my pals so interested in a cricket game after such a looooooong time! All of them (rather us) are buying this game on the ps3 on day 1 (provided India gets this game on day 1).

Maybe I got it wrong, I was looking in commentary 1 for team not home ground when I checked, woops.

There is a big list and most of the names seem plausible actually! Although, I expect a LOT of them to be minor tweaked versions of the same ground, especially the smaller grounds. A pavillion, seats and various other things to make them look unique, that wouldn't take a long time using a few base models.

Why not reveal the "big surprises" now that Ross mentioned that he is cool with it.

What are we expecting for the default players that will be in the game? Will they have accurate stats, attributes? Will they have slightly modified names and likenesses? Or will it be much different...?

Hoping they are similar so we can just tweak those
