I should add that you should take all these features with a grain of salt. I am only translating the words I have seen in files in my own language. That said, there are high chances that most of these will be accurate if not all :)

Sounds great, i really wanted 5 difficulty levels as 3 is more easy to top.
I have a feeling this game on hardest will be what most of us are looking for, also Friend 863 can you see what the difficulty levels are called. I was hoping for something like backyard,school,club,state,international or something like that. Great job.:D
 
- There are these types of Competitions -
League
Knockout
Series
You can probably create your own online and offline competitions too. Not fully sure about online but it's high possibility. But as Ross said before there will be online knockout competitions.

- Difficulty Levels
Easiest
Easy
Medium
Hard
Hardest


- You can sprint and run at max speed or min speed based on stamina during batting. Both sprint and running will drain your stamina. It will be recovered as you gain fitness and when you are idle.
- You can probably switch the strikers when running during batting. Non Striker/Striker can take these decisions while running - No Decision, wait, slide to safety, desired runs, sprint, dive. (I don't know what the last line really means so you are free to decode this)
- There will be different body type for cheerleaders :p

PS: I am 70% sure now after reading some variables that all the home grounds listed in Team Editor will be in game.

That should be enough for today I guess. It's not easy to crack the programming language into your own words.

Yet another reason to not keep hitting shots all the time and instead take those singles to keep a fatigued batman at the non-striker's end so that he can recover. Wow, if this is true, it looks like a damn realistic game. Finally, through these physical variables, we will have a cricket game where the mental (which is the most important factor in a cricketer's career....as self confessed by them) aspect of the game is as, or more, important that the physical one. Sounds super awesome.

Btw, if possible, could you also check if the stamina gets drained when you hit more aggressive shots?

Even if it turns out that the hardest mode is not that difficult, I am pretty sure BigAnt will patch it to be so.......they have done that with RLL2....so am pretty sure the same will be the case for cricket. One thing I know for sure, seeing the technicalities in this game, is that BigAnt really do understand cricket.....so am expecting that if the hardest difficulty it almost unbeatable (which it should be) then that is because of true cricketing characteristics and not because the AI will be programmed to cheat.

Normally patches are used to fix bugs or to update stats/data but never seen patch enhancing the difficulty level in the game. Yeah they added an option called 'enhanced AI' which, if enabled, was pretty much a higher difficulty level, from what read on their forums.

Those probably aren't the names of the difficulties, just what they reflect. Hardest could be 'legendary'.

I don't think we need the AI to be invincible as it would require the AI to be a cheat. The AI simply needs to play the game like a very good human player would do, is what I wish.
 
I wish they could develop an AI that could learn from the tactics you use against the AI or the tactics people playing against you online use.

Exactly. NBA Jam has this kind of an AI. Here is its description, " utilizes the ground-breaking AI system, allowing the game to learn your tendencies and throw them back in your face"...

NBA Jam has always done that all the way back to the c64 - you get far behind then you can hit every basket ("he's on FIRE!!!"), get too far in front and nothing works for you...

Our AI will keep you on your toes :spy
