Found this in the file:
"ground_restitution_wet
ground_friction_wet
ground_restitution_dry
ground_friction_dry"

Looks like the rain will affect the outfield then. The ball might skid due to reduced friction and bounce low due to reduced restitution. Ross has paid a lot of attention to these little details. Now, you'd want to think twice about the time of the day (if dew plays a part)/weather forecast before electing to bowl or bat first.
Awesome, Ross!:cheers:thumbs

There's a mention of Drag in air & on ground, air mass density. You don't wanna hit the ball against the wind.
Does the air mass density imply difference in ball behavior with altitude? Like the difference playing at Dharamsala (1500m above sea level) and Mumbai (at sea level).
This is getting very interesting!:D

Amazing, how on earth does ashes 2013 stand a chance if this game plays as well as it sounds. It's sad we have not had this kind of things for years, if it was not for bigant would we ever see this kind of detail in a cricket game, maybe in 20 years.:facepalm

Not the RTP?!? Secrets out...

Hahaha :D That cracked me up.
