No, there's another line in the file that reads air mass density. Somewhere near the pitch/ground friction/restitution stuff. Can't quote it now as I'm on my fone. I'll find & post it later for sure.

Just because a term is closer to the other does not mean they are related. I don't think there is no need to mock anyone since all of this is actually our wild interpretation.

So anyone's guess is as good as anyone else's.

I think D/L method will be implemented on the basis Temperate, amount of rainfall, wetness, cloudiness, Air mass density.
Then it wouldn't be the D/L method - that's a calculation after the end of a weather event based on time remaining, target and par scores - not what the weather is. The calculations around there would likely be for the duration of a rain event, the likelihood of continuing play at a point.

Considering it is a game, calculating the weather event against what the D/L target would be at a particular point could be a factor in how long the rain might last - similar to how umpires/captains might decide to accept otherwise poor playing conditions to push for a result.

As mentioned by Matt already, D/L is not dependent on those factors at all.

That sounds good, thanks for clarifying.

Yup, thought it's something related with weather which is then affects D/L method.

hmm.. I guess then it's better to wait for Ross when he is ready for confirmation. After all, this whole thread is purely based on speculation. Nothing is confirmed or denied.

Anyways, found some more interesting values. I'll post about it soon.

Unless of course you happen to be Mitchell Johnson...

The game has to have mitchel johnson kind of bowling in bigant, pull the arm back close your eyes and see where the ball goes, still he will get picked for perth in the ashes he always does.:(

For today -

inputTiming inputTiming required maxRange maxRange required minRange minRange required direction required shotName

shotName required possibleFour possibleSix fielderWaitingTime timeUntilReturn timeInAir interceptingFielderId

interceptionInBounds canBeCaught interceptionPosition interceptionWindow timeUntilInterception fielderPredictionComplete
- This can mean that fielders can make prediction and catch the ball at the boundary ropes which can either go for six or four like Pollard jumping on boundary ropes :D

- These will be the player mentality - Brute Conservative Opportunist Precise Radical

- Skills are probably catorized catorized by -
POINTS_REQUIRED_FOR_RANK_5, POINTS_REQUIRED_FOR_RANK_4, POINTS_REQUIRED_FOR_RANK_3, POINTS_REQUIRED_FOR_RANK_2, SINGLE_SKILL_MAX_VALUE
get Weakest Bowling Skill, get Weakest Batting Skill, get Strongest Bowling Skill, get Strongest Batting Skill, get Skill Name, determine Rank
I don't know how these will work though.

- Feel free to specualte about the below lines as much as you like -

Retired Batsman and fielder is pretty much confirmed. The only thing I am wondering about is about milestoneNonStrikerThisBall and restrictedBowlerUntilOver.

This could be wrong but would air mass density relate to humidity in someway which will impact swing?

Just a thought.....?

...in that case putting; "Better than a wet fart in a bakery" ....as my second option.
