- Both batsman and fielder can be retired hurt during match. You can select backup fielder as well.
- You can sprint, run, jog, or walk while batting.
- D/L method is included where the match can either get revised target or it may get suspended.
- There is deep stats tracking system built-in even for online matches like you can see leaderboards for who has taken most wickets in Tests online.
- There is a Batting Camera and a bowling camera.

These features are just WOW.

Sprint/jog/run...thats awesome....i am guessing that will be integreted with fatigue too. If i am sprinting too much batsman will get tired quicker.

Batting and bowling camera sounds great too...wonder how different it will be from the way ashes games implemented it. I wouldn't mind a truely first person view for batting.

Yes, I would expect running to use a trigger and be incremental depending on how hard you press it. Though I think walk may be a bit unnecesary, default (no trigger held down) should be a light jog.

Yeah but is there any particular reason of why TexMod shows all the templates in red? Isn't there any other way to extract these images?

I don't know why it shows everything in red. i went the long way to extract these images by finding DDS images in the memory dumps, and found some similar images with low opacity (You'll have to view it in photoshop), which I guess indicate depth/height?

I have actually given up exploring more eversince Ross said they'll be giving tools. I just hope we at least get a tool to open the blobset archive.

Managed to dig up another file which contains all the events related to gameplay. Must say they have given lot of detail to even a small part of gameplay. Lot of attention has been given to stats tracking specifically. Some highlights which I found -

- Both batsman and fielder can be retired hurt during match. You can select backup fielder as well.
- You can sprint, run, jog, or walk while batting.
- D/L method is included where the match can either get revised target or it may get suspended.
- Pitches available -
Pitch Type Dry Grassy Dusty Crumbly
Pitch Cracks Light Heavy
Pitch Hardness Soft Hard
- Rain plays a big role in this game. I have seen a lot of details been given to this.
- There is deep stats tracking system built-in even for online matches like you can see leaderboards for who has taken most wickets in Tests online.
- I also saw these two attributes boundaryDistance and scorerPosition. I guess it could mean we could get six hitting distance?
- There is a Batting Camera and a bowling camera.

I also found challenges, face textures and some other textures but looks like People were quick enough to post these already.

are you sure about these features especially injuries?
Its amazing.

Nope, just a single week before and anyone that fancies a cricket game will see it and buy it. Then ashes will release and most people won't want to buy two cricket games in the same month. Sounds like a good tactic to me.

They could be subscribers to the open source concepts of version numbering, 0.99 followed by 0.100.

How are you guys finding all this info out?

Matt, you don't know math?
As much as I hate explaining jokes, as I mentioned, I was making a reference to a number of open source software programs that consider 0.99 to be zero-point-ninety-nine and 0.100 as zero-point-one-hundred as the next version number if they aren't ready for version 1.

MAME for example is at version 0.148 now, after going from 0.99 to 0.100 in 2005.
