Another question for the developers,

I remember that LiveCricket's controls were quite complicated, and therefore it made the game hard to pick up and play, will the controls on Cricket Heroes be easier, or will there be an option to customise the controls so we could have a control set that suits us.

@harrisb: The controls have been simplified a LOT Additionally, there's proper support for mouse and gamepad control as well.

@meet: There's currently no beta version just yet. We're finishing up a beta version but this will only be made available to the registered testers. Once they're satisfied that the game is bug free (or mostly bug free ) we'll release a public demo.

I think the private beta demo will be ready within 8-9 days . We are testing the final gameplay. We are trying to remove all the funny bugs and we have got a big success in this.

Hi everyone,

I'm not dead - I've just been busy with life :P

I decided to put this project on ice a few months ago as I felt burned out and needed a change of scenery. The goods new is that I've resurrected this game and am working on it almost daily now...The bad news is that the graphics are still as bad as they were when you last saw it :/ The great news is...that I'll be releasing a public beta before the end of the year. I'm a bit hesitant to mention a release date (we all know how well that turns out) so for now that's all I'll say - end of this year.

The public beta will NOT contain the following:

- 3D models
- career mode
- multiplayer

It will, however, be the most complete cricket simulation out there and will feature *much* improved gameplay and AI as well as plenty of challenges, unlockables and Facebook/Twitter integration (assuming FB and Twitter don't change their API's again).
