@Rohit: I'm taking a look at the running issue now. Can you extract the options.ini file from Setup.zip again please? Looks like it got corrupted somehow. Do you remember how it happened?

I have no idea, I just played a game scored 54/3 then quit and then after few minutes thought to give it a try again :p and it gave me this error

Well Kurt one more issue, When we play the game on Full Screen mode the fonts go haywire. Its not properly seen and is broken kinda.

Also the running bug is that the players run inside the crease itself and return back to crease :p so in short they dont leave the crease

----------

Also remove the CUSTOM IPL FC as it was only needed by User2010 and no one else ;) :)

----------

@Kurt-Simulation is still the same. When we click the button, it automatically simulates a over.

Well, if you are playing as a key board then it will ask you to select a bowler every one over which should not be an issue. If you want to simulate only its better to be in cpu vs cpu mode and keep manual lineups on ;)

OK, the fix is uploading at the moment. Should take 2min. The new version fixes 3 things:

- auto-updater (from now on the game will automatically update to the latest version when there's one available)

- running (the computer kept making the batsman run back :P )

- options.ini (the game will fall back on a default options file if it can't find the proper one)

- re-added Importer.exe to the release

Things I'll attend to in the next release:

- simulation mode with more control

- fixing fonts when going fullscreen (you can work around this for now by quitting the game and restarting it after you select Fullscreen)

Thanks again for the quick replies guys, I really appreciate it :)

Cheers
K

----------

New version is up.

Well it seems that we were allowed to run when fielder did not field and ball went out of 30 yards circle. We were not been able to take close singles. Hope thats resolved

BTW could you tell me one thing..

I always play with I key and not been able to play much with u,j,k,o,l

What are the other keys for? Also the simulation engine is just too brilliant for T20's

@Rohit: The other keys are for backfoot shots and lofted shots :)

Also, thanks :) If there's anything that can be improved with the sim just let me know and I'll take a look. The next mode I'm going to implement is Beach cricket :)

:) I'm trying to do 1 week iterations - I'll see if I can get the basic version of Beach Cricket up and running by this time next week.

I was playing a game of India VS Sri Lanka things were fine I bowled 5 overs and then decided to sim the game. Sri Lanka brilliantly scored 190/5 in their 20 overs and it was our chance to bat

I selected Gambhir and Sehwag for batting and the game crashed sayin this

Code:
RUN @ 4/1/2012 4:42:17 PM

MESSAGE: Value cannot be null.

BTW I had created a small tournament T20 Asia cup and in that this game was played

So it was series --> 5 teams --> India VS Sri Lanka and then this error occured
