@hedger_14: Sounds good :) Let me know if any more bugs pop up.

EDIT: Aaaah, right - the clock. That's definitely something I need to fix up. Should be in the next update.

What I would like to know is the effect of bouncers. Does a well directed bouncer unsettle the batsman? And have an increased effect of getting a wicket with a full ball over the next 2 or so deliveries?

At the moment it doesn't really have an effect - but that's a brilliant idea. I only factored in movement, not length which is very silly. I'll add that to the next update too.

lol, I found a bug. I'm bowling with Hauritz and I have a short leg in place and he is physic as he keeps running to where the ball will end up, including running right onto the middle of the pitch, lol. Might need to fix that up.

o.O Does he run while the ball is being bowled?!

And ok, thanks. I have no idea where is the right length to bowl a bouncer anyway as I can't bloody tell how high it ends up on the batsman.

Cool, not urgent. Doesn't make much difference. But yeah, a slight variation in line and length can put the batsman off so it probably needs to be in there.

----------

Bloody hell, second lot of 4 overthrows. You should probably make it so fielders back up the stumps as my fine leg does nothing until the ball goes flynig past the stumps and past him.

yeah, but the throws come in so fast. They should backup as soon as the ball is hit. and then make sure there in perfect position as the ball is thrown.

----------

and lol, my slip is facing sidewards. And ok, maybe my short leg isn't physic or he just wanted to get a ball which would have been hit straight to him.

There we go, the breakthrough. Bell just plays all around a flighted Hauritz delivery which turned back in slightly and hit the offstump. Bell out for 13 off 45 balls.

What I can tell from test matches is the batsman score just a bit too slowly, never really score any singles and don't run when it's hit lightly in between fielders meaning they only really get boundaries or singles to men in the deep. Only 5 singles have been scored this whole innings.

Hmm that's true - let me see what I can do about the scoring rate...

EDIT: out of interesting, what's their run rate at the moment?

And Hauritz strikes again, Strauss out for a 4 ball duck, again bowled.

So after 30 overs, it is 65/3 (RR of just over 2) with Pietersen still in on 23* off 87 and Trott 0* off 2.

Bowling Figures:

Doug Bollinger - 6-3-16-0
Peter Siddle - 6-2-18-0
Mitchell Johnson - 9-8-4-1 (lol, ER of 0.44)
Shane Watson - 5-1-18-0
Nathan Hauritz - 4-2-9-2

----------

o.O Does he run while the ball is being bowled?!

Only just saw that post, yes. He nearly ran straight into the ball before it reached the batsman.

----------

tweaking hell, you stupid slip. Would have had Pietersen out but the 3rd slip dived right out of the way when the ball was coming right to him and the short third man came around to stop any runs being scored.

----------

lol, now a run out. They finally decide to take a quick single and some alert fielding from Ferguson runs Pietersen out for 23. Prior comes in before Collingwood even though it said Collingwood was going to come in first. 65/4.

Hmm, seems like the fielding still has quite a few issues. I'll definitely try to get them sorted by the next update. Keep updating me on bugs though - your feedback is EXTREMELY helpful.

Well I think the likelihood of wickets in tests is good but it makes it look too easy by some very slow run rates. As I have bowled 35 overs and taken 4 wickets (1 a run out) so normally they would be scoring at between 3 runs and 4 runs per over so they would be about 125/3 which is a decent scoreline and I do bowl pretty well, I don't bowl them anything too straight, full or wide and normally try and keep my pace varied between 130 kph and 140 kph for fast bowlers and normally have a stock ball, either an outswinger or an inswinger and just vary it slightly. And I seem to bowl well with spinners, normally by keeping my field in so they don't score easy singles, although I have been giving the batsman a long on but he hasn't played it down there yet and normally just keep it outside offstump, vary my pace and amount of spin and bowl normally one or two top spinners or arm balls each over.

----------

lol, my short leg is lying on the ground now and just went for a random slide behind the keeper before the ball was bowled. You definately need to fix this short leg fielder as I have no ideas what drugs this guy is on.
